Aurelia Shaw thought about Viscount Zhou's past relationships and really couldn't recall him ever mentioning falling for any specific girl, but he did frequently change his female companions.

Aurelia Shaw chuckled and muttered, "Little brat."
Viscount Zhou immediately wasn't pleased upon hearing that. Forgetting his drowsiness, he started to seriously argue with Aurelia Shaw.
"Who's the little brat? Have you seen a 23-year-old, handsome and charming little brat? Don't forget you're only two months older than me. I'm 1.82 meters tall now, and you barely reach my shoulder, yet you dare call me a little brat. You're the real little brat now." Except you're the only one who doesn't realize it.
"What good is having just an appearance when your mind is still that of a child?" Aurelia dared to lecture Viscount Zhou this time. In his previous life, after Viscount Zhou returned from Country Y, he had become so mature and steady in both thought and demeanor, completely different from the crybaby little boy she remembered. The bedroom door opened, and a tall figure walked in.
Mason Nightshade looked at the sleeping Aurelia Shaw, her little face serene, long eyelashes casting shadows under her eyelids, her small mouth slightly open, with drool at the corner. Mason Nightshade forgot who had told him that this posture was due to extreme insecurity, curling up like a shrimp to hide within a shell.
Mason Nightshade let out an almost inaudible sigh, feeling defeated by her. He really couldn't do anything about her. Even though he was infuriated by her earlier, he couldn't resist coming over in the middle of the night to check if she had kicked off the blanket, afraid she might catch cold.
He wondered if she might be like him, unable to sleep at all?
But it seemed he was overthinking it.
The fight probably had no impact on her at all, he thought.

Mason Nightshade adjusted the air conditioner temperature, picked the blanket up from the floor, covered her with it, got into bed, and held her in his arms.
Feeling the warmth, Aurelia's fuzzy head burrowed into Mason Nightshade's embrace, her cool little hands wrapping around his waist, clinging to him like a koala.
