Wei Keli was being cautious. If the man hadn’t been sent by Qin Murong, then he would be in trouble.
“I’m here on Ms. Qin’s, Qin Murong’s, orders to take you somewhere,” the man whispered.
Wei Keli nodded. “Let’s go then.”
“Mr. Wei, there’s been a change of plans,” the man suddenly said.
“What? Why?” Wei Keli frowned. “Did something go wrong with the plans?”
“That’s not it,” the man replied.
Wei Keli let out a sigh of relief before raising his voice and saying, “Don’t beat around the bush then! What has happened?”
“The villa that Tan Mo was staying in was not properly cleaned. The resort management had not noticed a dirty corner. They have moved her to another villa where she’s now staying,” the man explained in a low voice.
The man was actually none other than the person who Wei Zhiqian had planted there.
Wei Keli shot the man an angry look and scolded him, “Why didn’t you say that from the start then? I thought the plan was a no-go or something!”
The man was not angered by Wei Keli’s rudeness, but smiled at him. “No, no. That’s not the case, Mr. Wei. The plan will still proceed as usual. There’s nothing for you to be worried about. But, because of this last-minute change, the management has been in chaos, and I managed to swipe the new keycard from them,” the man explained as he handed Wei Keli a keycard. “Here, I’ll take you to the new villa.”
Since making Tan Mo his was the only thing that Wei Keli could think of at the moment, he didn’t even suspect the man of any treachery and followed right behind him.

“I’ll be waiting outside, just in case anything happens and you need me. I’ll also need to attract everyone’s attention once you’re done with your part of the plan,” the man explained.
Wei Keli nodded as the man’s explanation made a lot of sense.
The young man then took a deep breath. The hand that was holding the keycard started to shake and sweat as his heart began to race because of his rising nervousness. The card was even starting to get wet from his excessive sweat.
Wei Keli apologized to Tan Mo in his head before he opened the door.
Mo Mo, I know I shouldn’t do this. I know I shouldn’t hurt you, but this is all because I want to be with you. Don’t worry. I promise that I’ll be nice to you from now on. I am doing this all for you and for our future.

His voice was very hoarse. He felt as if he was in the Sahara Desert.
