"Director Lu called us and said that he rejected you for his movie. Do you know anything about this?"
Director Kang said as she slightly glared at Ren who was standing in front of him.
Beijing Film Festival has already ended and Ren had also created quite a buzz after winning the best debut award.
But just after the award ceremony, The PR team has received the call, saying that they don't want Ren to act in «Vagabond» and there would be no further meetings.
After the call, Director Kang has called Ren into the PR team office.
"I don't know anything about it. I think they didn't like me and founded someone else."
Ren said trying to stay calm.
He has already decided to hide the truth from everyone.
That's why he tried to act calm like he didn't knew why he was rejected.
"Do you really not know anything about it? Director Lu was saying something else."
'Did he opened his mouth about it?'
Ren thought when he heard that but he didn't believe that Director Lu would reveal anything about the incident.
That's why he said.
"I don't know about it. He must be saying some nonsense."
"Really?"
Director Kang asked with a glare.
"Yes."
Ren answered with a straight face and Director Kang didn't lingered on the matter any more.
"So, do you plan to not do any projects after «Heirs»?"
Director Park asked as she leaned on her chair and titled her head.
"No, I will do projects."
"Then, choose a project. No one knows what will be a hit, just select a project which you like."
"I already has a project which I like."
"What project?"
"You already know about it."
When Ren said that, Director Kang tilted her head to the side, trying to think of the project that Ren was talking about.
Suddenly, her eyes went wide when she finally got the project he was talking about.
"Wait! Do you mean that musical drama by that rookie director?"
"Yes, I am talking about that."
"Will you really do that project? I mean, Jiang Wan already rejected it. Even Director Zhao was not much optical about it."
"But I still want to do it. I don't care if it's a movie from a rookie director or not. I just know that I like it."
"The problem isn't, that it's a project from a rookie director. The problem is something else."
"What is the problem then?"
Ren asked curiously. He wanted to know what was the problem Director Kang was talking about.
"It's the music. A musical drama needs top music. For that, it would need top composers and producers. Just the cost of making the album would be high, that project don't even have investors."
'Music!'
Actually, Ren has already thought of that problem.
A good musical drama would need high quality music.
Not the fast idol songs, but songs that can reach one's hearts. It was hard to make songs like that without good composers or music producers.
"I think I can do something about this."
"You can do something about this. What will you do?"
"I have an idea for both the music and the investments."
Ren said as he thought of his plan.

It was the scene of a resting room. There were two people talking there.
One was a woman who looked to be in her 40s. She had sons wrinkles on her face and she looked to be a independent working woman.
Second was a girl who looked to be in her 20s. She had brown hair and a small little face.
She was wearing a pretty dress and there was some sweat on her forehead.
She was Lin Ru and she had just came back from a show.
"The work is too much these days because your last single was such a big hit. They were already people who were calling you 'Song princess' online."
The woman who looked to be in her 40s said. She was her manager.
Lin Ru giggled when she heard that. Her laughing face was one, which can bring the protective nature of a man.
She was just too cute and look really innocent.
"Is that so? I feel embarrassed hearing that."
"You don't have to be embarrassed. It's just means that people are liking you. You are a famous singer now, you should enjoy your popularity."
"I think I am already enjoying it."
"I don't think you are enjoying anything. You are just busy in your work. You are still young, you should look for some good guys to date."
"Dating? I don't think I have anyone that I like."
Lin Ru said as her face blushed red.
For a second, a handsome face appeared in her mind but she shook it off.
"Really? Then, you should look for one and have some fun. Even the CEO was worried about your health."
"He was worried?"
"Yes, you have shows on 22, 24 and 27. You will not be able to rest much after them."
"Are they all night shows?"
"Yes, they are all late night shows."
Lin Ru's eyes shook and her face became slightly sad when she heard that.
"Why? Do you have some plans on those days?"
Her manager asked when she saw that.
"No, I don't have anything in particular but I wanted to watch a drama on 24."
"A drama?"
"Yes, it's called the «Heirs». I wanted to watch that but.......Don't worry, I will just watch it later."
Lin Ru said as she smiled. She didn't wanted to trouble her manager.
But her manager was thinking of something else. She looked at Lin Ru's face as she asked after thinking for sometime.
"Do you wanted to watch it because of Xin Ren by the way?"
She well apparently knows that Lin Ru got her break because of Xin Ren.
About how she met Ren and how he helped her and sang the song with her.
It was because Lin Ru herself has told her about it, she had heard the story many times.
"No, no, it was not because of him."
Lin Ru said as she shook her hands but her blushed face told the whole story.
"Really? Is that so? Then, why are you blushing so much?"
Her manager said as she giggled.
Lin Ru's face became more red after that. She quickly got up from her seat and hurriedly left the room while shouting.
"There's nothing like that. I am going to change now."
