After the CEO started talking control of the situation, everything happened at a fast rate.
CEO Xu furiously scolded the bearded director and despite his retorts and pleading, she didn't hold back.
She even said that she will discuss this matter in the next board of director's meeting. After that, the bearded director wasn't able to say anything.
He furiously left the office in an enraged state. Even when he was leaving, he was staring at Ren with a deadly stare.
As the bearded director left the office, CEO Xu directly apologised to Xiao Rin and said that all the people involved in the incident will get fired and she can now go back to the acting course.
It was a happy conclusion for all the people but when it was the time to leave the office, CEO Xu unexpected words startled Ren.
"Xin Ren, please wait for a bit. I want to talk to you alone."
Her words were really unexpected and Ren was somewhat startled by this but he didn't have any choice but to stay.
Jiang Wan and Director Zhao looked at Ren for a second before departing from the office.
Xiao Rin looked like she was unwilling to leave but she still left the room with a worried expression.
"Please take a seat."
Ren took a seat when he heard CEO Xu's words. He was nervous but he appeared to be calm on the outside.
"First of all, I would like to thank you for all you did. If you didn't have reported it to Jiang Wan, then a major incident would have been left unnoticed."
CEO Xu said those words gracefully as she stared at Ren. She was looking at him with more interest than before.
"No, I just did what I had to do."
Ren shook his head as he said that but the CEO's next words startled him.
"So, why did you help her?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Ren said with a confused expression.
The CEO was asking him why did he decided to help her? Truly, even he didn't knew the right answer to that.
"I just mean what I said. The reason you helped her. About your motive behind helping her."
"I don't think there was any motive to it. I just helped her because I didn't wanted to see someone with that much talent suffer."
"Is this the only reason?"
CEO Xu said as she directly stared at him. It was like she was trying to look into his soul.
"Yeah, there was not any other reason."
Ren said as he scratched his head and the CEO giggled hearing his response.
She was looking at Ren with a great interest and the interest in her eyes was increasing swiftly.
"You really are a interesting one."
CEO Xu said that as she muttered. Seeing her like this, Ren was getting more and more confused.
At first he has thought of her as a young career woman and then as a strong independent woman but now, he didn't knew what to think.
Her behaviour was too strange to decipher for him.
"Can you tell me why did you decided to talk to Jiang Wan about it?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, you are not naive, so you must have thought about what if Jiang Wan refused to help you. I mean, you were going against a director, anybody would be scared because of it."
Ren nodded at her words and thought about the time when he had decided to reveal the entire matter to Jiang Wan.
He was sceptical at first as they were not going against a trainee but a director, anybody would be troubled by it and will want to avoid trouble.
That's why he had thought about it clearly when he had decided to reveal the matter to him.
If he would have refused to help him, then he was prepared to directly barge into the CEO's office.
That was his final choice. He had thought that with the CEO's personality, she would have at least hear him out.
When Ren said his thoughts to the CEO, she again started giggling as she leaned against his leather chair.
After that silence flowed into the office for a while before Ren asked a question he was curious about.
"So, what will happen to that director?"
"Oh, obviously he will be punished, I will raise this issue in the next board of director's meeting. The testimonies are against him and his niece. Oh, his niece contract would also be terminated."
"Are you not preparing for her debut. You will lose money if you do that, right."
Ren was glad that the bitch who harassed Xiao Rin would be fired but he had also heard that the company was preparing for her debut.

CEO Xu said with a curious expressions while she slightly lifted her chin.
"No, it's just that I am happy for her. I mean, it's good that she can show her talent to the real world."
"Yeah, it's good but don't tell her that yet."

Although he wanted to reveal it to Xiao Rin, he still knew that it's better to keep it a secret in case something unexpected happens.
