'What do I do now?'
Ren contemplated this as he started thinking about what can he do from now on.
He had earlier thought that he can have Xiao Rin get an audition by convincing the director but he was away on a business trip.
He can't do anything right now. The most logical thing would be to told Xiao Rin that he can't get her an audition.
But can he do that?
Obviously, he can't do it as Ren will lost the trust Xiao Rin had in him if he really decided to do that.
She was also looking very excited after getting the screenplay. She even promised Ren that she will do her best to play the role.
In that case, if he really told her that he can't get her an audition, she would surely be dissapointed.
More than dissapointed, he was worried that she would be devastated. She has just started improving from her trauma, he felt that it would be a great blow to her.
'I can't tell her that.'
After contemplating for a while, the decision Ren made was that. He would feel immense guilt if he did that, he didn't want that in the least.
He have enough regrets in the past, he didn't need another right now.
'What can I do from now on?'
Now, Ren started thinking about what he can do from now on. He was thinking of ways he can get the approval of the director.
Although he was thinking about it, he himself knew that it was not possible for him to meet or contact the director.
He didn't have his contact number nor does he think that Jiang Wan would give him Director Zhao's number.
He had no way to meet or contact with the director right now.
'It looks like I can't do anything.'
Ren thought as he sighed and took a deep breath. He felt that he was in a deep trouble when suddenly, he thought of a idea.
"Right! I can contact the CEO directly."
Ren nearly jumped off his feet when he thought that.
He knew that meeting the CEO was an impossible matter for him and Jiang Wan had also emphasised that but Ren has a way to meet with the CEO.
The last time he has a meeting with her, the CEO has actually given him her number and said that he can ask a favour from her.
Previously, he hasn't thought much about it and he had completely forgotten about it.
That's why he hasn't revealed about it to Jiang Wan but now, he felt that he could use it.
Thinking like that, Ren took out his phone and glanced at the number of CEO Xu.
He had saved her number in his phone but he never thought he would have to call her someday.
Ren took some deep breaths and started at his phone for a second before pressing the call button.
The ring rang for a moment before the call was accepted.
-Hello
Ren felt his heartbeat quickening when he heard the slight cold icy voice but he still answered.
"Hello, CEO Xu. It's me, Xin Ren."
-Tell me what you need me for.
CEO Xu didn't talked about anything else and said straightforwardly.
"You remembered that you told me that I can ask you for a favour in case I need something."
-Yeah, have you decided on it.
"Yeah, I want to ask for something."
-Come to my office.
The phone call ended with that and Ren wondered about the things that was going to happen next as he made his way to the CEO's office.

"I think I can do this part a little better."
Xiao Rin muttered as she glanced at the screenplay and scratched her head.
She was currently in her dorm trying to act out the lines of Yiren, the protagonist's sister.
In her hands was the screenplay of «The stars avove».
Although Xiao Rin had only received the screenplay for a day, there were clear signs that she looked through it several times as there were densely written notes next to Yiren's lines.
Xiao Rin had not slept yesterday and has been memorising the lines. Another reason was that she was too excited to sleep.
Although it was just an audition and it was not even confirmed, nevertheless Ren had told her to leave everything to him.
She didn't even realised it herself but she had a kind of unbreakable trust in him. She was sure that everything would be alright as Ren had told her that.
Because of this, she also didn't want to break his trust and was practising with all her might.
"Rin, are you in the room?"
As she was practising her lines, the door to her room suddenly opened and Cei Xin peeked out from it.
"Wh-what happened, Xin? Is there anything you want?"
Xiao Rin said hurriedly as she quickly hided the stack of A4 papers. She didn't wanted Cei Xin to see it as Ren had clearly instructed her not to let anyone read it.
"No, I don't want anything. I just came to told you that acting classes are cancelled today."
Luckily, Cei Xin didn't seem to notice anything. Xiao Rin was relieved thinking about it.
"Is there anything else? You can go now."
"Ah, do you have any problem with me standing here? Wait a minute, you aren't hiding anything from me, right."
Cei Xin said as she looked at her suspiciously with narrowed eyes.
"No, what will I hide from you."
"Is that so! Then, do you want to go shopping together? We do not have any classes today, so it's okay, right."
Cei Xin said excitedly but Xiao Rin just shook his head as she replied.
"Sorry, I have to practice."
"Practice and practice! Don't you have anything to do other than this. You are really boring."
Cei Xin said as she grumbled while looking dissapointed.
"Don't disturb me! Now go."
Xiao Rin said shooing Cei Xin off. She didn't wanted to waste her time by going to shopping.
"Ah, I thought we were friends."
"We are but it doesn't mean I will compromise on my practice."
Xiao Rin said with a slightly narrowed eyes but although she said that, she was very thankful to Cei Xin in her heart.
Her relationship with the other trainees was awkward but she and Cei Xin has quickly became friends.
"Okay, okay, you can do your practice. Anyway, the only thing in your head is practice and Senior Ren."
Cei Xin said that with a grin on her face and Xiao Rin face instantly became red as she shouted towards her.
"What the hell are you saying? If you have time to bullshit, then you can improve your acting a little bit."
"Humph, although you deny it, I knew you had started liking Senior Ren after he helped you. You don't have to hide it from me."
Cei Xin said as she left the room with a big grin on her face leaving Xiao Rin with a blushed face.
After a while, Xiao Rin shook her head as she picked up the screenplay. She decided to ignore all the thoughts in her mind as she focused on the screenplay.
'I first have to get successful.
With that thought in her mind, Xiao Rin again started acting out her lines.
