"So, what do you want to say about the recent controversy about you on the internet?"
Wu Wei said as he continued the interview. The atmosphere inside the radio booth was still good as the comments were good.
Wu Wei first talked about Ren's debut and his life after it, he then swiftly started talking about «The stars above» and the controversy regarding it.
As it was a recent topic, the listeners were more interested in it.
"Well, it was sudden and too much hyped, I think. When the announcement about me being the lead was disclosed, we were expecting some people calling it a hasty decision but it got too big."
"Well, controversies are always unexpected and no one knows when they will go down."
"Yeah, so my agency was quite worried about it as they were thinking that it will hit me mentally or something. Everybody was asking if I am okay or not?"
"So, how did you cope with it?"
"I just ignored most of the part and didn't read people's comments on internet. I was also preparing for the shoot, so before I knew it, the controversy had died down."
"It's good that you didn't felt pressurised by the controversy but you are in the middle of the shoot currently, right."
"Yeah, actually I came here just after my shoot."
When Ren said that, comments like 'Really!' and 'You sure are working hard' appeared on the screen.
Wu Wei also put on a interested expression as he asked.
"Really! It must be really hard then. Are you doing night shoots these days?"
"Yeah, we are currently shooting the night scenes."
"Are you having trouble with the cast as many people will be dissatisfied with you being the male lead, right."
Ren smiled when he heard that question as he replied.
"Yeah, I think there were some people who were dissapointed with me as I got to play a male lead so early in my career but the people I am working on the drama are all nice people and I was able to satisfy them somehow."
"How did you do that?"
Wu Wei said as he raised his eyebrow.
"One of the chief's I knew said one thing when I was on my way to the script reading."
"What was it?"
"He said that the best way to show your worth and position in this industry is by your acting."
"So, you proved it by your acting."
"You will have to see the drama to know that."
Ren said as he made a meaningful smile and Wu Wei laughed as he said.
"That was an interesting reply. Let's go to the next question. What do you think the people can expect from «The stars above»?"
Ren fell into a thought when he heard that. He contemplated the question for a second and after a while, he replied with a smile.
"There are many things you can expect from it but the thing you can expect from it the most is a good time."
"A good time?"
"Yeah, I think people will have a good time watching it as it's not a drama that it too complicated and it's just had a nice feeling. You can even consider it as a youth drama about love, regrets and decisions."
"That's a good answer. A good time, huh, I kind of want to watch your drama now."
"It will be a honour if you really decided to watch it."
Wu Wei laughed when he heard that and the interview continued.
He asked many questions about Ren's upcoming drama, his other plans and his current life.
The atmosphere in the booth was really wonderful as Ren and Wu Wei kept talking without any care.
It was because they were both feeling good talking to each other and because of the heated response from the listeners, both Producer Ma and Writer Hu was also smiling.
As the interview continued, Wu Wei started the next segment after a short advertisements break.
"Like we had said, we are now back after a break and now it's time for Xin Ren to answer some of our listeners questions. Let's start with the first question"
[Mr. 3259: You said that you came here just after the your shoot. How do you cope with it?]
"It's a question asked by Mr. 3259, what do you have to say about this?"
"Well, it's hard to be exact. These days, I have been doing shooting for at least 14 hours everyday, so it's obviously hard but I honestly enjoy it."
"You enjoy your tight schedule."
Ren nodded at that and replied.
"Yeah, a year ago, I don't have any work and now, I have too much work. A tight schedule is much better then a empty one."
"A good answer. Let's go on to the next one."
[Mr. 4289: There are many other dramas releasing at the same time as you and they are much more bigger then your drama. Do you feel pressured by it?]
"This time, it's Mr. 4289 who has asked the question. What do you have to say about it?"
"Well, It's true that I an feel pressured by it as many amazing and big actors are working on the other dramas but I still think that my drama can do a good job as many people had worked day and night to make it."
"So, Do you think that your drama can beat the other ones?"
"Ah, I don't know as it will all depend on the viewers and how much the people liked it but we are doing our best, so I think people will surely like it. As for beating the other dramas, only time will tell the answer."
Ren said as he scratched his head. He told a lie there as he was not much pressured by the other dramas.
Because he knew the future, he knew that «The stars above» would do wonders and his major concern was how to not decrease his quality.
As he had changed the future by playing the male lead, Ren was somewhat worried that it will change the future, so he was doing his best right now to ensure the quality of the drama.
"Now, let's go on to the next question."
This way, Ren interview continued and he answered many questions asked in the comments and he also talked a lot with Wu Wei, as the result of that his relationship with him had gone much better.
And he at also felt closer to the listeners by interacting with them. He also felt good when there were comments saying that they are his fans.
One thing that Ren still hasn't experienced yet was his interaction with fans. He hadn't done that yet but the company was thinking of organising a fan event after the broadcast of his drama.
Either way, it was a good experience for Ren to have a interview with Wu Wei.
