When Ren and White bear reached the hall, they were greeted by the smiling face of Director Zhao.
"It's good that you are here. I didn't knew you can play the guitar this good."
"I just did it as a hobby sometimes."
Ren said as he smiled embarrassingly.
Since the moment, he had heard that he will be meeting the CEO again, his heart was beating really wildly.
He also didn't knew what would the CEO ask from him. Ren knew that it would be related to him playing the guitar in the viral video but he knew only that.
"It isn't just a hobby when you can play it at that degree. The CEO wanted to talk with you."
"Why do the CEO wanted to talk with me? Can't you all just have a meeting about it?"
Ren said as he didn't wanted to meet the CEO. It was because everytime he will feel a suffocating pressure when he is in front of her.
"Don't worry about it much. She just wanted to ask you...…"
"Ah, the CEO is willing to meet you and you are refusing it. You are really too arrogant as I thought."
As Director Zhao was saying that, a voice interrupted him.
It was the voice of the rough bearded man sitting at the side. Ren and White bear were both curious as to who he was since they had never saw him before.
"We all know who is the arrogant one here. Can't you shut your mouth for a second."
At those words from Director Zhao, the bearded man just scoffed and grumbled.
"Director Zhao, who is he?"
White bear asked as he glanced at the bearded man and Ren also glanced at Director Zhao as he too wanted to know the answer to this question.
"He is just a unnecessary person who is too arrogant for his position."
"What did you say? Are you forgetting who is the senior one here?"
The bearded man said with an angry look on his face and Director Zhao scoffed as he said.
"Senior one? I don't think you should call yourself that when you have gotten your position with the help of your connections."
Because of their quarrel, Ren and White bear finally understood who the man was.
He was the director of the idol department, Director Huang.
'They really don't get along well.'
Ren had previously heard that both the acting team and the idol team directors don't get along well with each other but he didn't knew that they will even curse at each other's face.
Their relationship was really bad but Ren could not just let them fight each other, so he intervened.
"Um, Director Zhao, don't we have to meet the CEO?"
"Ah, yes. I forgot about that. You know her office, you will find her there."
Ren was confused when he heard that, so he asked.
"What do you mean by it? Am I meeting the CEO alone?"
"Yeah, she wanted to meet you alone."
Director Zhao said as if it was no big deal but Ren expression changed drastically when he heard that.
"What do you mean? I thought you will be there with me."
"I also didn't wanted to leave you alone but the CEO said that she wanted to meet you personally."
"Personally? Why is that, Director Zhao?"
White bear asked as he titled his head and Director Zhao replied as he shrugged.
"Who knows? It's the CEO's order. Now, go you will wasting CEO Xu time if you stand her up for long."
Director Zhao said as he gestured Ren to go and he had no choice but to follow his order as he can't reject it.
He quietly made his way to the CEO's office door and as he stood before it, Ren had various thoughts in his head.
It was the fourth time he will be entering the CEO's office and considering that, he has just joined the company, it was a strange thing in itself.
'The CEO is still a human!'
Ren thought as he finally mustered up his courage and entered the door.
"Oh, you are here. I was waiting for you."
CEO Xu said as soon as she saw Ren and gave him a wonderful smile.
It was the smile of a young maiden but Ren knew that the CEO was a lioness in truth.
After some greetings, Ren finally moved to the main topic.
"I heard that you were looking for me, CEO Xu."
"Yeah, I didn't knew that you can play the guitar."
"I just did it as a hobby and it's been a long time since I have played it."
"You seem too skilled for someone who hasn't played the guitar for a long time."
Ren coughed when he heard that and CEO Xu continued.
"Either way, it's good that you also have the qualities to become a singer. There are many actors who are venturing in the music industry these days, it will be beneficial to your career."
"I don't want to enter the music industry."
Ren said as he made a firm face. He previously had a feeling that CEO Xu will ask him to venture into the music Industry but currently, Ren had no plans to do that.
He was satisfied with acting currently.
"I didn't say that you have to become a singer or a musician. I am just saying that as a possibility. By the way, your drama is releasing next month right."
"Yeah, it is releasing in February after the Spring Festival."
Ren said as he nodded his head. He was glad that the CEO is not forcing him to join the music industry but he knew that she had something up in her sleeve.
"How's the public response right now?"
Ren smiled awkwardly when he heard that. He thought that CEO Xu was asking this question deliberately.
"There are many people who are interested in our drama but it still can't compare those public network ones."
It was true that «The stars above» has created a big buzz considering that it was a cable network drama but the buzz had also grown silent because of the other high budget dramas releasing at the same time.
Ren thought that «The stars above» has already gotten the highest popularity it can get.
"You are right, but I have a method that can make it bigger than the other cable dramas."
CEO Xu said as she smiled and Ren was surprised when he heard that.
Although he knew that his drama will be a big hit, he can't deny the fact that it getting more buzz can help it to get more ratings, even higher than his previous life.
