For a second, Ren's mind was in confusion.
He was in confusion on whether Xiao Rin was angry or calm at the moment as he was not able to guess her emotions from her face.
Her eyes were also flicking with a strange light. He didn't knew but he thought that she was not normal at that moment.
"Brother Ren, is the shoot already over for today?"
"Ah, no, we still have some scenes to shoot. You can sleep more if you want."
Ren said as he thought that Xiao Rin hasn't heard of their talk. He was strangely glad about it.
"No, I don't feel like sleeping anymore but.."
She stopped there for a second as she stared at Ren and continued.
"What type of scene were you talking about?"
'She had heard everything.'
Ren thought as he quickly tried to answer her question.
"We were just talking about the ending scene."
"But I thought it was a scene with Chen Mei?"
At that moment, Ren looked towards White bear and Chief Han, indicating with his eyes that he need help but they just stood there doing nothing.
'Damn it!'
Ren inwardly cursed at that moment and decided to say the truth.
"We were talking about the ending scene with Chen Mei. Maybe you don't know about it but it's a scene in which me and Chen Mei...will kiss for a second."
Ren said truthfully. Kissing your co-star isn't a uncommon thing in dramas or movies. It's just a way to portray the emotions of the characters to the audience.
And nearly every actor do it, they don't have a reason to refuse until they are married or they have some other issues.
Although it's just a way to show emotions to the audience, some actors can be uncomfortable with it.
As kissing a person you are not in a relationship was a strange thing, moreover Ren was 40 year old mentally, he would feel really strange kissing Chen Mei who was just in her 20s.
But he didn't refused it because the drama needed a good ending and it was the best ending possible.
Although he don't know how his parents and friends will react to it, he still decided to go with it.
'What will be her reaction to it?'
Ren thought as he stared at Xiao Rin at his side but unlike what he thought, she was just sitting there with a blank expression.
There was no anger, sadness or any other type of emotion on her face. It was just blank like she didn't even care about the kissing scene.
'I thought you much about it.'
Ren had thought that Xiao Rin would be disturbed by it but she seems to be pretty normal.
That was a good thing in itself but she was sitting without saying anything for a while now, so Ren asked.
"Xiao Rin, are you okay?"
"Ah, I am okay. I was thinking about something."
Xiao Rin said as she blinked her pretty eyes.
At the moment, Ren had a feeling that Xiao Rin was definitely affected by it as her eyes were not normal.
Originally, her eyes would always seem to be clear and sparkling but today, it felt like they were deep as abyss.
There was only endless darkness in it.
But before Ren could ask anything more, a staff member entered the door.
"Ms. Xiao Rin, the director wanted to talk to you about your next scene."
"Ah, I am coming."
As soon as the staff member said that, Xiao Rin hurriedly left the room as if she was running away from something.
After she left the room, Chief Han let out a sigh as he said.
"Ah, it looks like she is affected after hearing about the kissing scene."
"It doesn't look like that to me though."
White bear said as he tilted his head.
"It may have not appear on her face but a human emotions are in the eyes. Her eyes were really scary for a second."
Ren agreed with Chief Han when he said that. It was certainly true that Xiao Rin's eyes were scary at one point.
"But why the hell is she affected when Ren is the one doing the scene?"
White bear asked with a confused expression on his face and Ren also wanted to know the answer to that question very much.
Ren knew that Xiao Rin was close with him. He can even say that he had pampered her a lot.
From helping her from the bullying to getting her the role, due to these reasons, Xiao Rin was close with him and she even felt grateful to him but Ren had some doubts about their relationship.
