Chapter 85: The Destroyer...
Kenji took the Cryophoenix egg over to Lotta, who was lounging in front of the house.
"Lotta, do you know how to hatch an egg?"
Hearing this question, Lotta gave her master a puzzled look.
I may not be human, but you’re being a real jerk right now. I’m a Battle Wolf. Are you in your right mind?
"Haha, Kenji, I think the egg is about to crack on its own. You can just leave it be," Atashino laughed. The idea of having a Battle Wolf incubate an egg... she had no idea how he came up with that. Did he think with his kneecaps?
"Awooo," Lotta whined, exasperated. What a master with a weird sense of humor. Why don’t you go find an Emperor Crow for this?
Kenji just chuckled and placed the egg back into his personal space.
"Atashino, want to go eat some vegetarian food at the Sky Vegetable Garden?"
"The Sky Vegetable Garden... I went there once many years ago. After I became a member of Biotope 0, I never had the time to go back," Atashino said.
"Oh, you’ve been? Have you tried the Ozone Herb?" Kenji asked.
"Ozone Herb? No, I haven’t. I just picked some fruits and vegetables and left," Atashino shook her head. She was strong, but she hadn’t eaten every single ingredient in the Human World. To have eaten everything would be an exaggeration; who has that kind of time?
"Partner, interested in taking a trip to the Sky Vegetable Garden?" Kenji invited.
"Sure. You’re the Gourmet Hunter, I’m the chef."
Atashino went to prepare the cooking utensils she would need.
[The Destroyer has joined the chat group]

[The Champion has joined the chat group]
Four new people at once. Kenji sat up from the sofa to look. Including him, there were now fifteen members in the group, a far cry from the original four.
Speaking of inactive members, Apollo was one. He was probably just a naturally serious person, so Kenji had rarely seen him speak, but he always helped when needed. Madara Uchiha was also relatively quiet, likely because there was no Hashirama in the group. Otherwise, they’d be seeing their bro-mantic dialogues daily. As for Ruan Mei, unless something piqued her interest or someone called her, she was always busy with her experiments, especially now that she had acquired so many novel research materials.
So, while there were many members, only about half were truly active. Elysia was the most active of all, constantly chatting with the female members. Kenji wondered what her real motives were.
Back to the topic at hand. The first newcomer, "The Destroyer," was clearly Tsukasa Kadoya, the passing-through Kamen Rider.
Ritsuka Fujimaru, the Master from Chaldea. He wasn’t sure if this one was male or female, or if their quest to save humanity had begun. Kenji had only seen the animes and some videos. He remembered a lot of heart-wrenching moments, like when Mash was crushed by a giant rock. He had wished so badly that Ritsuka could have unleashed some hidden power and lifted that boulder. Or maybe just shouted the password to get stronger: "I can’t do anything!"
My king, Artoria. Kenji was very curious just how much food it would take to fill the King’s stomach. He absolutely had to invite her over to try and fill her... plate.
"The Champion," Cynthia, from the world of Pokémon. She was the absolute pinnacle of trainers in her region. Pokémon... Kenji remembered watching the anime on TV as a kid. Pikachu, Charizard... As a manly man, how could he not want Pokémon like Eevee and Ralts? They totally fit the manly man aesthetic, right?
[Crash-Test Pilot]: "’The Destroyer’? That’s quite a title."
[The Destroyer]: "’The Destroyer’? Who comes up with these names? My name is Tsukasa Kadoya."
Tsukasa Kadoya was already triggered. This nickname was just pure malice. Unlike Kizaru just getting his last name changed to Monkey, this felt like an attack on his whole identity.
Stank: "Welcome, little newbie. You’ll get used to it."
Heh heh, finally, someone who understands my pain.
[The Destroyer]: "Haha, Stank? Compared to your nickname, I guess ’The Destroyer’ isn’t so bad."
With a name like "Stank" in the chat, Tsukasa felt a little better. At least his nickname didn’t have a pun about poop in it.
Tony’s mouth twitched. Just let me find that old delivery guy. Otherwise, I’ll make that old geezer work eight hours a day, only provide three meals, give him just a one-hour lunch break, pay only triple for overtime, give him only three bonuses a year, give him only two months of annual leave, and only raise his salary once every four months. I’ll exhaust that old geezer to death.
[Gudako]: "What is this? A Chaldea work group chat?"
She had just arrived at Chaldea. Did they have something this amazing here?
[Gudako]: "My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru! I’m a newbie who just got to Chaldea."
So polite, even giving a self-introduction. Of course, she could also be observing from the shadows. Gudako’s profile picture changed to an orange-haired young woman.
Excellent, it’s the female Ritsuka Fujimaru. Humanity is saved!
Was this the normal "Last Master of Humanity," or the "Beast of Chaos" version who didn’t need Servants and personally tore Demon God Pillars apart with her bare hands? That remained to be seen.
[Miss Pink Elf♪]: "Chaldea? Nope! This is a chat group that connects all the heavens♪"
[Gudako]: "Eh? For realsies?"
[The Destroyer]: "Interesting. I’ve passed through so many Rider worlds, but there are still so many I haven’t been to."
He had already finished his own TV series. He figured he wouldn’t be getting pushed around anymore.
Hearing the word "Rider," Artoria, as the King of Knights, naturally had some interest in other knights.
The Destroyer’s inner thoughts: It’s Kamen Rider.
But "Ahoge King?" Artoria reached up and touched the single strand of hair that symbolized her royal glory. To use this as a nickname... it was indeed worthy. I, Artoria, approve. She had made a pact with Alaya on her deathbed, hoping to obtain the Holy Grail to make a wish, but no one had summoned her yet. She initially thought this chat group was a Heroic Spirit summoning system, but that didn’t seem to be the case. It felt more like a hub connecting parallel worlds.
Ahoge King: "My name is Artoria Pendragon, the King of Britain."
[Crash-Test Pilot]: "The King of Britain... Pendragon... Could it be the legendary King of Knights? But wasn’t the King of Knights a man?"
Daigo scratched his head. The legend of King Arthur was epic. Arthur Pendragon was a male king, but this "Ahoge King’s" name sounded female.
[The Destroyer]: "Yeah, I remember King Arthur being a man."
Ahoge King: "Are you looking down on me because I am a woman?"
Artoria’s eyebrow twitched. She wasn’t truly angry, but she was definitely annoyed.
[Star Forger]: "In the infinite worlds, there are infinite possibilities. For example, us appearing in this chat group—is that something any of you could have imagined before?"
So what if King Arthur was a woman? There were other historical figures who were women in other worlds.
[Miss Pink Elf♪]: "Kenji is right! We can’t have any discrimination here♪"
[God’s Tongue]: "Welcome to the new members. My name is Nakiri Erina."
[Crash-Test Pilot]: "Miss Artoria, my sincerest apologies. I apologize to you."
Ahoge King: "It’s fine."
[Star Forger]: "Is The Champion here? I want a Pokémon."
[The Champion]: "If you want a Pokémon, then please treat it with kindness. What do you want?"
After saying this, Cynthia suddenly had a very bad feeling.
[Star Forger]: "Just catch me any one of the following: Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh..."
They were all famous, not some obscure Pokémon. That wasn’t too much to ask, right?
[The Champion]: "Stop, stop, stop! Are you ordering from a menu? Look at what you just listed! They’re all Legendary or Mythical Pokémon! Where am I supposed to get those for you?"
Cynthia broke out in a sweat. Even with her resources as Champion, she couldn’t just go out and catch Pokémon like those. Still, this proved that Kenji knew her world quite well.
