Sisi picked out some of the photos taken by Shi Lei, mainly focusing on the brands and origins of some old electronics. Most were from Country R and Country U, but there were also some from other countries.
She sent these selected photos to Mr. Xiao Ye from Country R and Professor Dalan from Country U. No one was more suited for this task than these two individuals.
Sisi also sent some of them to Ben, as his international influence was quite good and he could probably help too.
Within a few days, Professor Dalan sent an invitation to Sisi, inviting her to speak at the university where she taught, H University. The topic was the story behind these photos and the situation in Guiyu Town.
Sisi was actually a bit stage-shy. She knew herself well, knew her own capabilities. What was H University like?
It was a top-tier university, highly ranked worldwide. Naturally, the students there were geniuses and elites from around the world. With her level, what if a genius in the audience raised a genius-level question that she couldn’t answer?
Wouldn’t that truly embarrass herself internationally?
When Mr. Yun learned of this, he encouraged her to go: "Go! Why not? Ah Nan, go and amaze those foreigners!"
The Old Man and others also supported Sisi in going, cheering her on, saying how could she not go for such an honorable task?
"You must go, it’s such a glory for the family! Even Mr. Yun hasn’t taught at a foreign university before!" The Old Man compared with Mr. Yun. In his eyes, the fact that someone as capable as Mr. Yun hadn’t done it meant that it must be extremely difficult.

So, with everyone’s encouragement, Sisi took Zhang Jie as her assistant and went to Country U, standing on H University’s lecture podium.
Looking at the crowd of students below, her excitement dissipated in an instant, she took a deep breath to gather her thoughts, and began speaking fluently in English.
During the lecture, Sisi showed slides with photos and environmental data from Guiyu Town.
Most importantly, with the contact from Mo Liu not long ago, a private hospital from Hong Kong agreed to assist Green Home voluntarily, sending a medical team to Guiyu Town for free health checks. For various reasons, they only examined 2,000 people, a third of whom were children.
These health reports were both infuriating and heartbreaking because among the examined 2,000, 90% showed symptoms of poisoning, especially the children who were already lead-poisoned, affecting their brain and physical development.
"Everyone, please look at this photo. The infant in the picture is still breastfeeding, yet during the embryonic stage, was exposed to toxins daily, inhaling toxic gases, consuming toxic milk, and drinking toxic water. I only see darkness unfolding in the child’s future. There are many children like this in Guiyu Town, all already contaminated, suffering irreversible damage that will accompany them for life!"
"How did these damages form? Everyone, please look at the trademarks and origins of these electronic wastes."
Sisi enlarged a photo of one of the old computers, revealing its brand and place of origin. She displayed several similar photos for everyone to see.
Some students below felt ashamed, while others exclaimed in shock.
"Do you find it unbelievable? Perhaps there’s a discarded computer of yours among these wastes!"
Sisi’s words elicited some laughter, and she continued, "The government of Country U is very smart, expelling these toxic wastes from their territories, saving citizens from harm, and granting them a beautiful and clean homeland. This love for the people is certainly commendable."
She then shifted her tone, "But folks, understand that these beautiful, clean places are built upon the suffering of people in other countries, and this isn’t a long-term solution. Since we all live on the same planet, these toxic materials won’t just stay in our Z country; they will disperse everywhere, maybe one day becoming guests in their own hometown. Then I guess the politicians in Country U will have no choice but to fly into the sky and try to drive them away with a giant fan."
Sisi spoke humorously, invoking another round of laughter.
"I protest against this selfish detox behavior, not to save money by using Z country as a garbage transit station for Country U. Doing so harms others and oneself, as not only does toxic air spread everywhere, but the precious metals decomposed using 19th-century techniques mostly return to their homeland as well. It’s possible that the gold necklace some girl is wearing below was made from this washed gold. However, these metals are toxic and can cause unpredictable health damages, even causing cancer."
Sisi’s words caused quite a stir, with everyone instinctively checking their jewelry, seemingly unwilling to believe that these beautiful accessories could be poisonous.
Sisi, with a sarcastic smile, took out a fine gold necklace and displayed it to everyone.
"I purchased this necklace at a ** mall in Country U, made locally. Please see the receipt, no need to doubt its nationality, but the material comes from places like those in these photos. I took this necklace to a testing agency in Country U for examination. Everyone, please look at the lab report!"
Sisi signaled Zhang Jie to display those lab reports.
"There should be students studying chemistry below, these data I think need no further explanation from me," said Sisi.
Looking at the chart-topping data, students couldn’t still sit, some of the female students even panickedly removed their jewelry, because their accessories were of the same brand as the one Sisi displayed.
"There’s a saying in Z country: harming others ultimately harms oneself, meaning people should harbor goodwill, as when you harm others, it could one day come back to haunt you as a form of karmic retribution!"
"Protecting the environment knows no borders, as we share one common mother - Earth. We should protect this only home together, and not let anyone destroy her!"
Sisi’s final words were met with a wave of applause, echoing endlessly!
