Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game Chapter 96

The moment I let go of her, she fell flat on her stomach.

She laid there for a few seconds, and then stood up before finally dusting herself off.

"That’s no way to handle a lady."

"Calling yourself a lady after shooting me and trying to kill me is very bold."

Reyna rolled her eyes.

"You killed my men first. I’m sure we could’ve talked something out."

As if.

"Regardless of if we talked it out or not, I would’ve killed your men. I despise people like you and them."

"Ah! You’re one of those people, aren’t you?"

She burst out laughing, just barely holding herself back as she leaned against her ship.

"Tell me, Amon. Do you consider yourself a saint after massacring so many people? Because you sure as shit come off as a massive self-centered hypocrite."

Sure.

"I might be a hypocrite, but at least I don’t deal in slavery."

"Tsk... Talking with you is like talking to a brick wall."

She turned around.

"Get off my ship unless you want to go for round two."

I scoffed and flew up slightly.

As I looked over her massive, yet empty ship, I let out a chuckle.

"Safe travels, Reyna. And remember, I know everything about you, including all your dirty secrets. If I see you flaunting my name around, I won’t hesitate to come back and kill you as well as your master."

And with those words, I turned into lightning before finally vanishing from the port city of Roland.

I still had mixed thoughts about Reyna.

But I guess the more heroines are left alive, the easier it will be to repel the demons.

And I’m sure I won’t be seeing her that often anyway.

So with those thoughts in mind, I quickly caught up to Clementine’s father.

He was a fast swimmer, just like the other sirens.

They were already close to the ravine.

Though, seeing Clementine’s father’s injuries... I knew I couldn’t just let him go back home like that.

After all, it was Clementine’s birthday.

So I exited my lightning form and dove into the water.

Before he could descend into the ravine, I stopped him with my Telekinesis.

Confused, he turned toward me, slightly wary.

"Savior... Is something the matter?"

I pulled out a potion made from my blood and handed it to him.

"Drink this."

Not sure how drinking underwater would go.

But he seemed to figure it out as he just stuffed the potion into his mouth and gulped it all down in one sip without asking any questions.

In an instant, all his injuries healed, and aside from his clothes slightly being torn, he looked completely fine.

Though...

It was my first time seeing someone do an underwater bow.

"Thank you, savior."

"About that..."

I undid my disguise, returning my hair and eyes back to normal.

"I’m sorry for tricking you. I’m actually acquainted with Clementine. We’ve known each other for a while now."

As much as I’d like to claim to be her boyfriend... Clementine and I hadn’t had that conversation yet.

But I knew we’ll need to have that talk after we’re back home.

He stared at me for a moment, almost like he didn’t believe me at first.

"You’re acquainted with my daughter? Is that why you went through the hassle of saving us?"

Huh.

I guess that’s tamer than him asking about our relationship.

"Yep. She also invited me to her birthday party, so please, don’t treat me like I’m your savior. My name is Amon."

He crossed his arms, then nodded at me.

Then, he pointed with his chin toward the ravine.

"I can’t keep them waiting any longer now, can I?"

I let out a chuckle.

Just like that, the two of us descended into the ravine and finally arrived in front of Clementine’s house.

Right as I was about to knock, the door abruptly opened.

Clementine jumped out, hugging her father tightly as tears poured down her cheeks.

I saw her mother standing near the doorframe, and it looked like she could barely stand.

But her expression was one of relief.

And when she glanced at me, her expression turned to one of gratitude.

I forced a smile and stood by patiently.

"Hic..."

"Come on, Clementine. It’s your birthday. Your old man is sorry for worrying you."

Clementine’s mother pouted.

"And where’s my sorry, dear? Is your wife invisible now that your daughter and her boyfriend came by?"

Hearing that, he froze.

"B-Boyfriend?"

As he turned toward me, I looked away.

But I could still feel the sharp glare hitting the side of my head.

"Yes! Our daughter bragged about Amon and told me a few of the things they’ve done. She also mentioned how sweet, kind, and innocent he is."

I turned my gaze slightly back to the father.

And yes...

It looked like he just heard the biggest pile of bullshit.

Sweet? Kind? Innocent?

He had just watched me massacre hundreds of people and collapse a whole section of a port city.

But oh well...

"Hahaha..."

He pushed Clementine off him.

She looked even more guilty than I did.

"It looks like our daughter has gotten rather bold as of late."

"Dad... I—"

"I’m sure you’ve already had the talk with your mother, so I won’t pester you about it. However, are you sure about him? I mean... He hasn’t swindled you into following him, has he?"

I’m not the one with a Charm Gift.

"No."

Clementine shook her head.

"I chose to follow Amon because I wanted to, and I l-l-lik—"

Her mother suddenly grabbed her by the collar and dragged her into the house.

"The food’s ready. Any more rambling and it’ll get cold. Now then... Honey, Amon. Come, let’s all have some lunch together, shall we?"

Not wanting to stick around in this awkward atmosphere any longer, I stepped inside.

The father did so too after a short pause.

As I walked toward the kitchen, I couldn’t help but ponder over just what her mother meant when she said ’the things we’ve done.’

Because we’ve done a lot of things...

We haven’t crossed the line yet, but yesterday was very... very close.

I just really hope she didn’t overshare that much.

Or else, this lunch is going to be very awkward.

Nonetheless, we soon arrived at the kitchen.

To my surprise, all the food was plated in some kind of bubble material.

There was a pocket of air inside, so the chicken, pasta, and everything else Clementine and her mother prepared was not soaked in water.

Her mother walked to the corner of the kitchen and pressed some kind of button.

In an instant, all the water that had filled up the kitchen was sucked out, allowing us to walk and sit down freely.

The bubbles that were keeping the food from being soaked also popped, and a tasty aroma soon entered my nose.

Like mother, like daughter...

No wonder Clementine’s so good at cooking.

Since there were four seats, I chose one at random, and Clementine immediately sat down beside me.

Then, her mother and father sat down in front of us as well.

Her father sat opposite me, and his glare from earlier hadn’t disappeared either.

It seemed like he felt betrayed, especially since I mentioned that Clementine and I were only acquaintances...

Anyway...

We picked up our forks and knives and soon dug into our food.

A few minutes passed in silence as I devoured everything.

But of course, this lunch wasn’t just so we could fill our stomachs.

It’s also there to get to know each other better.

Clementine’s mother took a bite of chicken, and then pointed her fork at us.

"So, how did the two of you meet?"
