Her tears fell like a beauty weeping, evoking sympathy from anyone who saw her.

Lu He glanced at the man, her eyes questioning: Would you like to try?
Zhao Jun bowed his head in thought. The poison from Prince An’s Mansion was extremely tenacious, and he had resigned himself to a lifetime of silence. Now, however, a glimmer of hope appeared.
Lifting his eyes, he nodded.
Taking a risk might offer a slim chance.
Seeing him nod, Lu He also breathed a sigh of relief: "Doctor, my husband is willing. Please, prescribe the medicine."
She had thought he might give up again, thankfully not.
The elderly gentleman, seeing the patient willing to try and not giving up, was happy for him and smiled warmly: "Then, madam, please accompany me to the clinic. I’ll ponder over the prescription, check the medicine stock, and ask whether you can stay in town for a while. I’m concerned about potential side effects of the medication."
When the child took the medicine, it caused vomiting.
Doctor Zhang also worried that after taking the medicine, the man might have adverse reactions. It would be a big trouble if he wasn’t around.
"Alright, then I’ll stay with my husband for a while longer. Thank you, Doctor Zhang." Lu He decided directly without seeking Zhao Jun’s opinion.
Better than no hope at all.
