Her new clothes made her look even prettier. She couldn’t resist examining her appearance in the copper mirror on her dressing table.
In the mirror, the young maiden had skin as smooth as cream, a face as radiant as a peach blossom, delicate eyebrows, long eyelashes, bright clear eyes like water, a distinguished nose, lips as lovely as cherries. No matter how one looked at her, she was incredibly beautiful. Describing her as stunning as the peach or plum, or as beautifully transcendent as a fairy, wouldn’t be an exaggeration at all.
Looking at herself, she felt a bit smug. After all, even considering her past life, she had never seen a woman more beautiful than herself. The only pity was that she wasn’t fully developed yet. If she had a proud chest, she genuinely believed no one under the heavens could surpass her in beauty!
With that thought, she inflated her chest in front of the mirror, vainly trying to mimic an ’S’ shaped figure. As she did so, suddenly, a young woman’s face appeared in the copper mirror on the dressing table!
The face was cold and indifferent, emotionless, and just appeared out of nowhere, like a ghost.
Cai Wei was startled, quickly pulled back, and swung her hand at the figure.
Luo Xue deftly dodged the sudden attack from Cai Wei with a cold snort and said, "I am not here to fight with you, miss. My master wants to see you!"
Cai Wei stopped her punch and kick, look at her mockingly, as if looking at an idiot.
"He is your master, not mine. Why should I go to see him with you?"
Luo Xue coldly retorted, "Whether you like it or not, miss, our master wants to see you."
"Well, he sure got some nerve!"
Cai Wei sat lazily on a stool, crossed her legs, and began to sneer.
"Who does he think he is? The Emperor? Wants to see me and I just have to run to him? I spit ——"
Luo Xue huffed, coldly saying, "So miss, are you going or not?"
Cai Wei snobbishly lifted her chin: "I’m not going today. What can you do about it?"
Luo Xue just silently watched as Cai Wei openly ridiculed and belittled her, with no reaction on her face. Only after Cai Wei was done ranting did she calmly turn around and walk out.
"Hey, where you heading?"
Cai Wei assumed Luo Xue would pester her to meet her master and would not give up until achieving her goal; she even thought Luo Xue might forcefully drag her. To her surprise, Luo Xue, after being rejected, evoked no response at all and was about to leave. This left Cai Wei utterly perplexed.
Luo Xue had reached the entrance. Hearing Cai Wei’s question, she took out the message on the door with one hand while opening the door with the other. Simultaneously, she said, "I am going to kill the man outside. That way, miss, you’ll have no choice but to follow me to meet the master."
Upon hearing this, Cai Wei’s hair nearly stood on end in anger, she shouted loudly, "Stop!"
As soon as she finished, she launched herself into the air, appearing behind Luo Xue, and throwing a punch at her.
Luo Xue raised her hand to block her punch. She only defended and did not counterattack, and there was no hint of emotion on her cold face due to this attack.
"Your master and servant are really the same type, even the way you threaten people is similar, you both are low, shameless, sinister, and despicable!"
Cai Wei was cursing angrily while showing no mercy with her attacks, each aiming for Luo Xue’s vulnerable points.
What she hated most was being threatened by others, especially when the people she cared about were used as threats. Her internal rage was already at its peak. If she didn’t vent it out, she felt as if she would suffocate to death!
In the beginning, Luo Xue was vile maintaining her expression of equanimity while exchanging blows with Cai Wei. But when Cai Wei insulted her master for being mean, shameless, sinister, and despicable, Luo Xue’s cold face suddenly warped. Luo Xue’s defence momentarily turned into a violent attack.
"You don’t know anything about my master, so you have no right to judge him!" She managed to spit out of her clenched teeth.
