Upon hearing his blatant and shameless proclamation, Caiwei’s face twisted with anger. She glared at him, her fists clenching and unclenching.
Watching Caiwei’s expressive reaction, Nangong Yi’s previously turbulent mood suddenly lifted. With a beckoning arm, he pulled her close, grinning as he said, "Disciple, let’s go!"
Stepping forward, Huo Yuan blocked their path, looking straight at Caiwei: "Wei’er, are you willing to go with him? If you are reluctant, I will send him to the county government office and charge him with the severe crime of breaking and entering."
Caiwei took a deep breath, her emotions fluctuating wildly. She desperately wished for Big Brother Huo to throw the evildoer into prison. However, she also knew that prison could never hold him and the government couldn’t handle him either. Moreover, she didn’t want Big Brother Huo to make enemies because of her, especially since that evildoer was not someone easily dealt with!
After considering all of this, she squeezed out a smile and said to Huo Yuan: "Thank you Big Brother Huo, but there’s no need for you to worry. I’ll go with him."
With those words, she was already being held by Nangong Yi, who was carrying her out without touching the ground.

Relieved, the boy bowed, then got up, clumsily retreating.

The country road in the suburbs
A fine, entirely white horse with not a single hair out of place ran freely. On its back, a man in a vermilion flowing-cloud brocade robe held the reins, one arm tightly wrapped around the slender waist of the girl in front, galloping at full speed.
With her brows furrowed, Caiwei endured the pain of being jolted by the horse’s strides, trapped in the man’s bosom, rushing forward.
"Hey, where are you taking me? Who wants to meet me?"
This wasn’t the first time she had asked.
However, the man repeated, "You’ll find out soon."
Caiwei gave a cold laugh. All right, if he dared deceive her by bringing her to this remote place with ill intentions, she could summon the white tiger to tear him to pieces, releasing her fury!
After a nonstop run of twenty or thirty miles, the steed came to a halt in a small village. Nangong Yi pulled on the rein, leaned over and gently whispered in Caiwei’s ear: "We’re here!"
