At dusk, a few horse-drawn carriages arrived at the Clan Leader’s mansion situated in the heart of Mu Family Village, stopping at the family’s main entrance.
A refined and elegant young man slowly disembarked from the carriage. Adorned with a gold crown and resplendent clothes, his handsome face was unparalleled in grace. Following him was a short, chubby old man in his seventies, with kind and benevolent expressions, who frequently bowed to the onlooking villagers walking around.
Five muscular men alighted from the two carriages behind them. These men, possessing robust physiques and orderly demeanour, carried large boxes on their shoulders after dismounting.
A sharp-eyed observer in the village commented: " Look, aren’t these the same men who helped our village last night?"
"Yes, exactly! I recognize that robust man with the square face; it was he who rescued my second uncle from the house yesterday. He didn’t even stay for a cup of tea and left immediately. Today, I must express my profound gratitude to him. Hey! Valiant man, wait for me..."

Chai Feng’s face darkened at hearing these words. He clenched his jaws and ignored the villager’s call, striding off into another direction.
Ever since they followed their Master to this poor remote and deserted village, there wasn’t much progress. But he certainly had several new nicknames now - Square-faced miser, Endless Runner, Square-faced valiant...

The villager recognizing Chai Feng caught up with him and started talking familiarly, underneath a big tree at the entrance of the Clan Leader’s house.
"Thanks to you, my second uncle was not crushed to death last night. The doctor said if the rescue had been just a bit late, he couldn’t have survived..."
"Valiant man, I’d like to invite you to my house for a drink. We’re opening a jar of fatty pork my mother pickled at the beginning of the year, come and give it a try, it’s delicious..."

Mu Sanniu kept babbling for quite a while without getting a single response from the square-faced valiant man, whose face got darker by the minute. The thickheaded Sanniu misunderstood, thinking that the box on his shoulder was too heavy to speak, so he kindly offered: "Valiant man, you must be tired. Come, come, take a rest. Upon hearing this, Chai Feng gave him a cold smile and handed the box over to Mu Sanniu without hesitation.
The moment the box landed on Mu Sanniu’s shoulder, it immediately drooped down as though he had a ton weight on it.
Mu Sanniu exclaimed, ’thud’ toppling onto the ground. Chai Feng, with his quick reflexes, caught the box in mid-air and placed it back onto his shoulder, turning his back on him without giving a second glance.

Massaging his sore shoulder, Mu Sanniu murmured to himself while sitting on the ground.
