After dinner, everyone went to bed early. They had spent the last few days in fear and constant movement and hadn’t slept well, so that night they all slept soundly, not waking up until the sun was high in the sky.
When they woke up, Lady Du went to prepare medicine for Mu Zhongqing. Cai Wei, after brushing her teeth and washing her face, put on the gauze hat her mother had bought for her the day before and went to the market to buy breakfast.
The streets of Qing County were much busier than in Yushu County, with many shops side by side. Most of them were businesses aimed at the people of Liaodan Kingdom, especially a large number of brothels and Chu pavilions.
