However, to her surprise, Yu Lizheng agreed immediately.

Caiwei was so annoyed that she laughed. With a sarcastic gaze towards a very serious Yu Lizheng, she raised her slim eyebrows.
"When did Master Lizheng start managing the Clan Leader’s business too? As I remember, the local officials in our dynasty were primarily responsible for managing local public security. As for civilian’s family matters, it seems they’re not under Lizheng’s jurisdiction!"
Yu Lizheng’s face flushed a bright red. Coughing, and with a grim expression, he replied, "You assaulted Lü’s Mansion’s housekeeper and all the people lying on the ground today are beaten up by you. Doesn’t this fall under public security issue?"
Caiwei crossed her arms, gave a cold smile, "They were beaten as a result of provoking me first. Should I, instead of fighting back, just sit still and wait for disaster? Or does self-defense also count as wrongdoing in Master Lizheng’s view? Or perhaps, Master Lizheng is fully aware that it is not wrong, but deliberately frames the issue, aiming to target me?"
The last time Caiwei saw Yu Lizheng, she felt that he was continuously siding with Lady Yu. Today, when he blindly tried to assist the main house in dealing with her without discerning right from wrong, this further verified her speculation. Clearly, Yu Lizheng is in cahoots with Lady Yu and aims to vent anger on her behalf!

Upon hearing Yu Lizheng’s command, a few soldiers immediately rolled up their sleeves and rushed over, intending to seize Caiwei and Jiujin.
Caiwei would hardly sit idle in a critical situation . She immediately confronted those few soldiers. As she fought, she whispered to Jiujin: "Brother Jiujin, you don’t need to worry about here, go and teach Mu Chongcai a good lesson. He is the culprit behind all this!"
Jiujin had always obeyed Caiwei, and besides, the few soldiers were clearly no match for her. Having heard Caiwei’s words, he directly rushed towards Mu Chongcai without any further ado.
Meanwhile, Mu Chongcai was nervously observing the fight between a few soldiers and Caiwei. Suddenly Zhou Jiujin’s menacing approach made his face turn pale, and he was caught by surprise.
"Zhou Jiujin, what are you trying to do? Hey, you, aah..."
As a heavy fist descended, Mu Chongcai shielded his head, crouched down while yelling: "Jiujin, what are you doing boy? Have you gone mad?"
