"Have fun sister, I wish you a happy married life," Yue Chen whispered slyly as Yue Ning passed her side.
"Thank you very much Chen, I hope you also get married to a rich man, oops, you will have to settle for second best, as my husband is the richest in the country," Yue Ning talked back.
She was not one to be put down by her words, rather, she fought back.
Yue Chen clenched and unclenched her fists as she listened to her sister’s words. Never would she have imagined her sister would talk back, not to talk more of uttering such words.
"Ciao, little sister, I have to go with my new husband," Yue Ning patted her back, before walking after Huo Feng who did not bother to wait for her.
"Huo Feng, wait a minute, do not leave me behind," Yue Ning ran after him while panting heavily.
He had the advantage of long legs, which enabled him to walk long distances in a few seconds.
They finally reached the car, and she held the car while trying to catch her breath.
"You are too fast," she commented while breathing heavily.
"Keep up," Huo Feng was not bothered by her as he made his way into the car, not caring to be a gentleman for once.
Yue Ning looked at him with a stupefied gaze. She had thought that he would open the door for her, but she was very mistaken.
She sighed seeing him sit in the car comfortably, and she knew he was not going to be helping her out. So it was best to enter the car.
The car left Yue’s household afterward. The atmosphere in the car was quiet all through the ride, both of them lost in their thoughts.
’Host, please do not forget about the task, you have less than five hours for that,’ the system reminded.
Yue Ning who had her eyes closed previously snapped her eyes open as she sat up straight.
"What do you mean by less than five hours? There was never a time limit to it," Yue Ning was frustrated, as well as startled by the news.
’I am sorry, host, it was a negligence on my part, all missions are timed, if I do make a mistake next time, call it to my attention,’ the system replied, while Yue Ning had an annoyed look on her face, forgetting that Huo Feng was seated beside her.
Huo Feng sensed her annoyance since she opened her eyes. He had been observing her, and he was lucky to witness the varieties of emotions on her face.
’Interesting,’ he muttered to himself as he observed Yue Ning who was still grieving from the system’s announcement.
’She is entirely different from what Chen had said about her, could it be that she is faking it just to get my attention, or did Chen lie to me?’ He questioned himself, while re-evaluating the whole situation.
’That is wrong, she would never lie to me,’ Huo Feng immediately dismissed the idea.
Huo Feng questioned himself, as he was bothered about the new character Yue Ning was exhibiting. He was highly interested in her, not romantically, though.
She intrigued him, and he was the sort of person who desired to know more about the things which intrigued him.
While both were lost in their thoughts, the car met with a 𝑠𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 accident. It bumped into the car which was in front of it, and this caused Yue Ning to fall on Huo Feng, planting a kiss on his lips in the process.
It was a notification from the system.
’First Mission, kiss the second male lead complete.’
Yue Ning was stunned as she parted her lips still on his body. She actually did not hear the system’s notification, rather she was stunned because of the effect of the collision.
"Are you going to move away, or do I need to throw you out?" She suddenly heard Huo Feng’s chilly voice, and she hastily sat close to the window in fear.
"Next time, put on your seatbelt," he advised before turning to look out the window, while Ah Si settled things with the other driver of the car.
Yue Ning cautiously wore the seatbelt, her eyes still on his face as she observed him.
All of a sudden, a smirk appeared on her face, for she had noticed something which was uncommon.

She wanted to point it out, but there was no doubt that she would end up being thrown out of the car if she tried that, it was best to act clueless.
’Host, you have one unread notification, I suggest you read it now,’ the system spoke up, and she sighed.
"You know, you are too rigid a system," Yue Ning complained.
’What do you mean by that?’ The system asked, genuinely confused as to what she meant.
"You are emotionless, and you respect the rules a lot, it is partially annoying," it was not up to a day since she was bound to the system, but she was already fed up with its rigidity.
’Host, please, read the notification, thank you, the system will be going to sleep mode now,’ the system was unconcerned by the complaints of its Host as it kept shut down.
"Hey! How am I supposed to read the notification after you have shut down, I do not have psychic powers," Yue Ning sneered.
She did not know if the system would hear it, but she hoped it would. She felt like berating the system, but she refrained. After all, it was her golden finger in this world.
’You can read the notification now, but after you have read it, I will go to sleep mode, I will be active when you arrive at your new home,’ the system stated, keeping shut immediately.
It was at her words Yue Ning noticed the car was already on the move. She breathed out, before reading the notification. If she did not, the system could get annoyed with her, and give her tough missions.

"Uh?" Yue Ning bit out on reading it.
"Does that count as a kiss earlier?" She asked, and the system let out an affirmative hum.
She nodded, happy that she did not have to go the extra mile to complete the mission.
Not only that, but she continued to read, and she was satisfied with the rewards she got, until she got to the number of points required to unlock the skills bar.
