Wang Qiaoxin felt more wronged by his question, her nose turned sour, and before her hand reddened, tears started falling.
Aunt Chen retracted her hand in a daze, looked at the cloth, and muttered softly, "It’s not dirty; I just washed it."
Old Chen, unable to see what had happened, only heard that Aunt Chen had scalded Wang Qiaoxin. As for the severity of the scald, how could a blind old man know?
However, his anger flared up instantly, and he picked up his walking stick to strike Aunt Chen, who was standing by his side.
