When he asked about those two piglets, Lin Yuan was immediately baffled. Although she did buy the pigs, she certainly wasn’t the one feeding them.

Pork Rong raised an eyebrow, "They’ve grown that big? You’ve fed them well! By next year, you’ll be able to slaughter them for meat. Come to me then, your uncle will handle the pig slaughter. I won’t brag about anything else, but when it comes to slaughtering pigs, no one can compete with your uncle here."
As soon as he mentioned slaughtering pigs for meat, Lin Wei’s expression changed immediately, and she waved her hands repeatedly, "No, no, I plan to let them have piglets, we can’t kill them!"
As Pork Rong was talking, he also kept busy chopping meat. With one stroke of the cleaver, a pair of ribs was split apart. Throwing the ribs onto the chopping board, he laughed, "Raise piglets? Does your family even have a big enough pigsty?"
Lin Wei nodded, "We do, we do. Next to my house, there’s a big open space. I’m planning to expand the pigsty, just perfect for raising piglets."

After placing their pork order, the three sisters continued their shopping spree.
The list had many more items to buy, ranging from food to a myriad of sundries, such as red candles and window decorations. Fortunately, these things were available on the main street, so the Lin Yuan sisters didn’t need to go out of their way to other shops. They strolled down the street and managed to buy everything they needed.
Xiao Linshuang, who was learning medicine and consequently knew more characters than Lin Wei, naturally held the list. With one hand holding the list and the other a charcoal pencil, she crossed off each item as they bought it. Whenever there was something on the list that her sisters missed, the little one would point it out while calling out to them, drawing attention from onlookers with her frantic yet professional housekeeper-like demeanor.
After such a tour around the street, the three sisters had pretty much bought everything they needed. Lin Yi followed behind with the horse cart, transforming into a labourer.
Xiao Linshuang crossed off another item with her charcoal pencil, glanced at the list quickly and seriously, and said with unusual earnestness, "We’ve bought almost everything we need. From what I can see, we’re just left with some fabric. Hm, we can go to Sister Mo’s fabric shop to get that. I do trust Sister Mo’s merchandise."
Watching her little-adult demeanor, Lin Yuan and Lin Wei couldn’t help but laugh to themselves.
"Since the butler has given the order, let’s hurry to Sister Mo’s shop to pick out some fabric," Lin Wei said, pursing her lips and deliberately acting obedient to Xiao Linshuang’s command.
Xiao Linshuang knew her sisters were teasing her but was neither angry nor embarrassed. She arched her eyebrows and nodded with feigned importance, "The hour is still early, no need to rush. Let’s go eat something to fill our stomachs first."
Lin Wei almost spat out her water on Xiao Linshuang’s face.
