As for its role in the Dream Realm...
Alka directly crushed the Gemstone. Twisted light and shadow began to surge forth as it shattered.
Pink mist gushed from Alka’s palm, capturing this twisted light and shadow.
Then Alka retreated into his own dream, pulling this light and shadow into his Dream World.
In his dream, Alka waved his hand, and a transparent Gemstone materialized in the center of the Dream World.
He stuffed the captured twisted light and shadow into it.
Dots of Starlight appeared within the transparent Gemstone. This was a type of Energy unique to the Dream Realm.
Only after Alka had defeated the monster and truly used the Dream Catcher did he gain more information.
This Energy had many uses.
Its main function was to create a bridge connecting reality and the Dream Realm. This would allow Alka to drag items from the Dream Realm into reality and pull items from reality into the Dream Realm.
However, this small amount of Energy was naturally insufficient.
This was the kind of capability a Treasure should possess.
After fully experiencing the Dream Catcher’s abilities, Alka couldn’t help but smile.
Since the Dream Catcher was suppressed by the Homeland Sea, what about the Mirror Surface?
In the Dream Realm, a mask resembling a mirror appeared on Alka’s face.
However, nothing happened. The Dream Realm’s functions seemed unchanged, with no significant issues. No... perhaps it is different.
At this thought, Alka’s mask changed.

Then the mask itself began to transform.
This time, Alka’s head remained his own.
But Alka’s eyes transformed into the shape of the monster’s, his pupils now filled with countless smaller eyes.
Alka hurriedly canceled the transformation, and the mirror mask vanished.
It was utterly disgusting.
The countless overlapping fields of vision made Alka unbearably nauseous.
"This monster is truly useless," Alka grumbled, "it’s disgusting even in death."
Besides the nausea, Alka’s head throbbed with exceptional pain.
Simply put, the monster’s ability was to fragment its field of vision, allowing it to observe every noteworthy detail within its range. This was especially potent given that its eye was several meters wide. It could perceive every detail within its field of vision.
The human brain, however, isn’t structured to handle such input. The sudden flood of dense, overlapping, and fragmented images instantly overwhelmed his mind.
The nausea was so intense Alka couldn’t even stand.
After a long while, Alka felt slightly better but still gagged occasionally.
Fortunately, this was the Dream Realm. If this had been reality, Alka would have vomited up all his stomach acid.
However, this also allowed Alka to glimpse an even more extraordinary potential for development.
He could simulate monsters from the Dream Realm.
Who knew what kinds of monsters existed in the Dream Realm? But they surely outnumbered those in the outside world and were far easier to see and observe.
This was because he could move freely within the Dream Realm, still in the role of a Hunter. Moreover, he didn’t need to deliberately avoid danger. Since he was using his dream body, any harm to his actual self from dying in the Dream Realm was minimal.
Upon leaving the Homeland Sea, Alka had discovered the combined capabilities of the two Treasures.
They complemented each other.
Just as the Archbishop had implied.
Thinking of this, Alka drifted out from his personal dream. He could easily see the surrounding Dream Bubbles now that the thick mist no longer obstructed his view.
The Dream Bubbles in the Dream Realm corresponded to locations in the real world.
For example, the surrounding Dream Bubbles belonged to those already asleep, like Chadite and the others. This even included Lucilia’s Dream Bubble, situated directly beneath his own.
Alka slowly drifted over to it.
No monsters were wandering around Lucilia’s Dream Bubble.
Still, to be on the safe side, Alka moved Lucilia’s Dream Bubble, placing it near his own.
He raised his hands and waved.
The surrounding mist began to gather outside Alka’s Dream Bubble, eventually forming a spherical, eggshell-like barrier that enveloped both his and Lucilia’s Dream Bubbles.
This provided a basic layer of protection.
To creatures of the Dream World, this mist was as solid as a boulder.
After a moment’s thought, Alka expanded this eggshell barrier until it was large enough to bring all the others’ Dream Bubbles inside.
Only then did he float to the other Dream Bubbles, dragging Chadite’s and the others’ over as well.
There were no monsters around their Dream Bubbles either. It wasn’t until Alka approached Pororo’s Dream Bubble that things changed.
Once again, he saw a peculiar Dream Realm creature.
It resembled a human arm, entirely composed of twisted light and shadow, colored black and dark red.
Each swing trailed a long ribbon of distorted light, and the arm was pummelling Pororo’s Dream Bubble barrier.
This time, Alka didn’t rush to hunt this Dream Realm monster. Instead, he hid behind a nearby mass of dream mist to observe.
