Lu Chen politely greeted them, “Hello, Uncle and Aunt.”
“Hey!” Fang Liguo smiled warmly. “Were you two on a date? What brings you to the hospital?”
“We were planning to watch a movie, but Brother Lu Chen drove me home. However, the nanny told me that there was a call from the hospital. I was worried something had happened to Grandma, so I came to check. Brother Lu Chen brought me here, and he’s still here…” Jiayi explained, confirming their arrival together.
“Mom, Dad, what happened to Grandma?” Fang Jiayi was skilled at acting. She despised her biased grandmother, but she excelled at pretending. “I think I saw you downstairs.” That familiar figure emerged from the VIP elevator, but she vanished before getting a clear view.
