Kristina Kingston walked out of the living room without looking back.
Mia Lane took a step to follow, but Justin Kingston grabbed her arm and stopped her.
He was worried about her.
"It’s fine." She looked at him; her eyes were as dark as night fog, and her smile was gentle, "Afraid they’ll eat me alive in broad daylight?"
With that, she gently brushed away his hand.

Justin Kingston took the children to the yard to play games, while actually observing quietly.
