The recent words lingered in her ears, causing Barbara Sutton to break out in a cold sweat as she just emerged from school.

"Have you ever interfaced with President Albright from the Aether Group?" Barbara Sutton asked cautiously. "CEO Kingston has urgent matters; he was supposed to meet with President Albright, but can’t reach him, so he asked me to go to the club to inform him about the change of plans."
Monica Usher told her truthfully, "He is not a person of good character, but he’s smart, rarely loses on investment projects. If you must meet him, do be careful."
"I also heard people say in the elevator just now that he’s quite lustful... I suddenly have a bad feeling, scared to go alone."
"Then wait for me." Monica Usher understood her implication, "Where are you?"
"I’m at the company entrance, outside the lobby."
"I’ll be there soon, five minutes."
"Okay." Barbara Sutton didn’t refuse, as no one else could help her with this matter.
With Monica by her side, she felt somewhat reassured; Monica was accustomed to grand occasions.
Before long, Monica Usher arrived, "Get in." She didn’t get out of the driver’s seat.
Barbara Sutton walked towards her, opened the passenger door, and sat inside, "Monica, I’m really sorry to trouble you, especially since you’re no longer with the Kingston Group."

What Barbara Sutton spoke was a fact, yet it inadvertently hurt Monica Usher’s heart.
With both hands gripping the steering wheel, she could feel a distinct pain in her heart!
