"Don’t make it sound so scary," Ian Shelby said with a smile as he packed up the medical kit. "You’re not a guinea pig. My medication is actually quite safe."
"Doctor, can I be discharged now?" He was truly going stir-crazy in there.
"Not yet," Ian said seriously, "We’ve just started on the new medication. It’s best if you stay for another week to observe for any adverse reactions."
He had mentioned this to Anton Miller before.
"Let’s monitor things for the morning. I need to go out in the afternoon. Can you give me a half-day break?" A thought had been circling in Anton’s mind for a while.
Ian continued packing as he said, "Let’s discuss it in the afternoon. Just rest well for now."
Anton Ford had no choice. He was the doctor, and he had to listen to him.
Besides, when Mia Lane left, she specifically instructed him to listen to Ian Shelby’s arrangements and to recover well.

Mary was accompanying Mia Lane with voice recording.

"Thanks," he said, taking the bottle and unscrewing the cap. "Even Mary knows I’m thirsty, can’t you at least welcome me?"
As he opened the lunchbox, a rich aroma wafted out. Mia ignored him, instead praising, "Ah, Sister Zhou’s cooking is always the best."
Seeing her happiness, Justin’s own joy multiplied several times.
"Have you eaten?" Mia glanced back at him, "Want to join?"
"Mary, come and eat!"
Clearly delighted, yet pretending to be upset, this girl!
Justin looked at her, his deep eyes full of affectionate light.
He said, "I have to head to the company now. I’ll pick you up this afternoon. What time do you expect to finish recording?"
"Not sure," Mia replied while eating, "Whenever you come, we’ll leave. We won’t finish recording in a day anyway."
"Alright then," Justin nodded, "I’ll get going now. See you in the afternoon."
"Bye-bye!" Mia waved her hand at him.
"Goodbye, Mr. Kingston!"
Reluctantly, Justin’s gaze moved away from her. For some reason, Mia seemed to possess a kind of magic power that deeply attracted him.
It was already noon, and Hailey Hale was still lying on Finn Morgan’s bed, seemingly having forgotten about the time.
