"Almost done." Barbara Sutton looked up in the midst of her busyness, smiling.
Mia Lane also smiled slightly, "Thank you for your hard work."
She had just sat down at her desk when Justin Kingston came in through the door.
Upon hearing footsteps, Barbara looked up, "Hello, CEO Kingston." She quickly stood up to greet him.
Justin nodded and walked straight to Mia, sitting on the edge of the desk, gently holding her hand, "Why are your hands so cold?"
"It’s nothing, just caught a bit of wind." Mia looked at him, "It’s a bit chilly outside, that’s all."
Justin hurriedly took off his coat and draped it over her, "It’s been really tough on you these days, keeping everything in check."
"I don’t want any mistakes." Mia said to him, "This is the first task I’ve taken on since I started, I have to do it well."
He could see all the pressure she was under.
Leaning against the edge of the desk, Justin, dressed in a black shirt, looked as dashing as ever. He held her hand with one hand and placed his other hand on her shoulder, gazing at her affectionately.

"By the way, Hailey and Finn Morgan made the news today." Mia started a new topic, "Did you see those photos?"
"Yeah." Justin nodded, "I saw them."

"There’s a client I need to meet at The Sovereign Club." Justin told her, "The CEO of a company from Aeridia is here on vacation, it’ll probably take two hours."
"Then go ahead." She was considerate, her voice soft, "Don’t delay important work, I can get home myself."
"I’ll have Old Chapman take you."
Mia knew he was worried, so she nodded, "Alright, you handle it."
Justin took out his phone to call Old Chapman, then chatted briefly with Mia.
In the end, Mia urged him, "You go now, we can talk about anything else later. What you’re saying isn’t really important anyway."
Justin’s lips curved into a slight smile, he leaned forward, cupped the back of her head, and planted a light kiss on her forehead, "I’ll be off then."
He reluctantly let go of her hand and turned to walk toward the door.
This was the kind of love Barbara envied—money and affection...
