Eleanor hesitated for a few seconds before quickly agreeing.
No sense in wasting a free helper.
She wasn’t polite and pointed to the drawers, "Put all these inside the cabinet, remember to arrange them in the order I set."
Alaric responded softly, rolled up his sleeves, revealing muscular arms, and started to work.
Eleanor was unpacking the herbs that Aaron Underwood asked her to categorize and occasionally looked over at Alaric.
The man was tall, effortlessly placing things in the highest spots.
Just as Eleanor was daydreaming, Stella Hawthorne’s voice came from the door.
"Eleanor, are you here?"
Eleanor immediately panicked, ran over, and grabbed Alaric, pressing him down and tucking him under the table.
With Alaric’s special identity, if someone saw him with her, she’d be doomed.
