"Eleanor, I just want to hold you while we sleep, can’t I even have that right?"
She was almost convinced by Alaric’s twisted logic.
"Just holding!" Eleanor huffed.
Alaric rested his head near her ear, his strong arms wrapped around her slender waist, the two of them intertwining like swans.
Seeing that he was indeed behaving, Eleanor relaxed.
