Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner were snuggling together. She wrapped her arms around his waist and sighed, "Oh, with my disguise exposed, I can’t even go to medical school now."
Without too much thought, Eleanor knew how much attention her appearance would attract.

She quickly pushed Alaric off and ran upstairs.
Alaric watched her charming silhouette, curled his lips into a smile, and stood up to follow her.
After Eleanor went upstairs, she wanted to change into pajamas for a nap. She hadn’t expected that as soon as she’d taken off her clothes, Alaric came in.
She immediately said, "How did you get in here? Go out, I’m changing clothes."
Alaric’s deep gaze lingered for a moment on her fair body, then his eyes quickly darkened.
Eleanor had a great figure, with curves in all the right places. Her skin was fair and delicate, the kind that stirs a man’s primal desires, making him want to press her beneath him.
Alaric took steps toward her.
"You... What do you want to do?"
Alaric pinned her against the cabinet door, slowly saying, "I’m thinking of doing something that will make both of us very happy."
Eleanor, of course, knew what he meant. She turned and tried to run away but didn’t expect him to clasp her waist and then throw her onto the bed.
By the time Eleanor got up again, supporting her waist, Alaric was nowhere to be seen.
She got dressed and went downstairs, seeing him busy in the kitchen.
Eleanor had known before that he could cook, but she hadn’t had many chances to eat his cooking.
Alaric had only simply cooked a bowl of noodles, which he brought out and placed in front of Eleanor.
"There’s nothing much here, just noodles, so you’ll have to make do."
Eleanor was hungry and wasn’t picky. She sat down and began to devour it.

Eleanor quickly finished the noodles.
After placing the bowl into the dishwasher, she sat on the sofa to digest. Alaric came over and wrapped an arm around her waist.
They leaned together, feeling warm and beautiful.
Eleanor thought of Yvette Ray and asked, "How’s Yvette Ray’s situation been lately?"
Alaric’s eyes darkened, "The investigation has been completed. The person who harmed Mrs. Keating years ago was Claire Truman."
Eleanor’s pupils tightened, and her face fell.
She gritted her teeth and said, "It was her!"
Alaric soothingly patted her back and said gently, "I’ll send you all the information, and you can handle her."
Eleanor nodded, hugged him tightly, and softly said, "Thank you, Alaric."
Alaric said in a low voice, "Words alone aren’t enough."
Hearing his words, Eleanor’s sense of crisis immediately arose, and she quickly moved away from him, "Hey, I just ate and I’m full."
"But I’m not full yet," Alaric said, a double entendre.
Eleanor gritted her teeth, looking at him with resentment.
