Yvette Ray’s excited voice came through.
"Eleanor! You finally showed up! I’ve been worried sick looking for you since you disappeared. Where are you? Are you okay?"
Alaric Faulkner said he had informed everyone that she was resting in the villa, yet now Yvette Ray says she disappeared.
Eleanor Sterling’s eyes turned cold; Alaric Faulkner had lied to her.
Hearing Yvette Ray’s anxious questioning, Eleanor Sterling replied, "I’m fine, staying at the villa. Has something happened?"
Recently, Yvette Ray had been asking Ronan Keating to find Eleanor Sterling’s whereabouts, worrying that Eleanor might do something drastic after what happened with Alaric Faulkner.
Now, hearing Eleanor’s question, Yvette instantly knew that Eleanor might not be aware of Alaric Faulkner’s actions. Should she tell her?
Hearing Yvette’s silent hesitation, Eleanor’s gaze darkened, and she said, "Yvette, what’s happening? If we’re true friends, you’ll tell me!"
Yvette sighed, "Eleanor, after your divorce with President Faulkner, he’s going to marry Giselle Keating. Their marriage announcement has been released worldwide."
Eleanor felt a buzzing in her head, and she couldn’t quite process it.
What? She divorced Alaric Faulkner? And he’s going to marry Giselle Keating?
Something seemed to click in her mind.
Alaric Faulkner had placed her in the villa, preventing her from accessing outside information, all to hide this.
Eleanor remained silent for a long time, not even hearing what Yvette was saying beside her.
Moments later, Yvette urgently called out, "Eleanor, are you okay?"
Eleanor snapped back to reality, quickly steadied her mind, and said, "I’m currently trapped in the villa and can’t leave. Can you figure out a way to get me out?"
Yvette hesitated for a moment, "I might not be able to help you, but perhaps there’s someone who can. I’ll go find him for help."
After hanging up, Eleanor felt as if all the blood in her body had been drained.
Yesterday, Alaric Faulkner had confessed to her.
He said he’d buy her a ring, looking genuinely sincere and deep in emotion, with no hint of insincerity in his eyes.
Eleanor pressed her lips tightly together, her face as cold as frost.

Yvette and Ronan emerged together, "Go inside and bring Eleanor out."
Ronan nodded and went inside the villa.
As he entered, Eleanor was sitting quietly on the sofa, calm and silent, without self-pity or tears, strong enough to break one’s heart, as if nothing had happened.
Upon hearing the noise, Eleanor turned her head, "Finally, you’re here. How did you get in?"
"Found a weak spot and sedated the bodyguards."
Eleanor thought for a moment and said, "Drag the bodyguards inside and don’t attract any other attention."
Though Ronan couldn’t quite understand Eleanor’s intentions, he instinctively followed her instructions.
Soon, the two unconscious bodyguards were dragged inside, and Eleanor had Ronan tie them up tightly, while upstairs, Chen Ma had already been bound.
After finishing everything, Eleanor said, "Let’s go."
She didn’t want the news of her departure to spread too quickly.
Yvette was still waiting outside, and upon seeing Eleanor, she hugged her tightly, "Eleanor, it’s so good to see you. I was worried sick."
Eleanor sighed, "Mm, let’s leave here first; we can talk later."
"Alright, the car’s there, let’s get in."
The three quickly got into the car, and the vehicle drove off after starting up.
