Hao Guyu manipulated three Eye Worms to observe the surrounding battlefield in all directions; eight 12.7mm heavy machine guns atop its body, along with four 20mm cannons and two 30mm cannons, continuously fired, suppressing the Siam Soldiers entrenched in the trenches and bunkers from showing their heads.
If it weren't for the trenches and various reinforced concrete fortifications, ordinary infantry would not survive ten seconds in front of the Spider Main Battle Mecha, facing only a brutal shredding by bullets.
While firing, the Spider Main Battle Mecha advanced, its eight metallic long legs granting it formidable and agile cross-country speed. Even in semi-hilly terrains, it could race at speeds of seventy to eighty kilometers per hour, effortlessly crossing various anti-tank ditches.
But most of the time, the Spider Main Battle Mecha did not maintain such high speeds. Its movement was aimed at eliminating the enemy's main forces, not racing.

But as soon as he showed himself, he was spotted by a Super Soldier accompanying the Spider Mecha in combat.
The next moment, a First-class Super Soldier swiveled his Gatling gun; a burst of bullets flew out, shattering the upper half of the Siam Soldier's body.
The only thing that fell back into the gun pit was a bloody and mutilated torso, horrifying the few Siam Soldiers who were about to emerge, turning their faces pale.
The Super Soldier, with a cold look in his eyes, kept up the rain of bullets with his left hand, while his right hand pulled out a Thermal Bomb Hand Grenade, hurling it with pinpoint accuracy over sixty meters away into the underground gun pit—a feat ordinary infantry couldn't achieve.
The pupils of the Siam Soldiers inside the tunnel contracted sharply, some were stunned with fear. Only one soldier snapped out of it after two seconds, trying to pick up the Thermal Bomb Hand Grenade to throw it back, but by then it was already too late.
The Thermal Bomb Grenade exploded, containing a cloud explosive.
Once a small amount of explosive was ignited, the cloud explosive was blasted out and mixed with the air to produce a secondary explosion, with a lethal radius reaching up to seven meters. Its explosive effect equated to ten regular hand grenades, especially potent in confined spaces.
When the Thermal Bomb exploded, nothing else mattered afterward.
Only two severely wounded soldiers managed to crawl out of the gun pit, only to be shot dead by a Super Soldier lying in wait outside.
"Ground rats, one comes, one dies."
With a slight spit, the Super Soldier's gaze sharpened as he sought out those sneaking enemies on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, Cao Yangchun, clad in Biological Armor, had just sniped a few enemies when he suddenly twitched at the corner of his eye, hearing the thunderous roar of a high-powered engine.
A main battle tank, camouflaged with branches and underbrush and hidden among the bushes, started its slow movement, emerging from its cover as its 120mm smoothbore cannon rotated, causing Cao Yangchun's expression to change.
His Biological Armor could withstand the sweep of heavy machine-gun fire, but direct hits from a tank's main cannon would obliterate him into pieces.
"Brother Cao, I'm coming."
Just as the tank began to aim, Hao Guyu's voice sounded in the earpiece.
Immediately after, the two 30mm cannons of the Spider Main Battle Mecha suddenly opened fire, shooting a stream of Armor-piercing Incendiary Bullets that formed a flaming chain in the air, pouring in at a steep angle from the top of the tank and cracking open its skull.
Once the bullets penetrated the tank, they bounced around inside like rubber balls, killing all the crew members.
Then the incendiary compounds within the Armor-piercing Incendiary Bullets ignited, piercing through the tank's ammunition and setting off the explosives.
With a loud bang, the freshly appeared tank was destroyed within seconds, its turret blown off the body by the blast wave and rolling on the ground, eventually crushing the legs of an An Nan soldier nearby, smashing his leg bones and eliciting a painful scream.
Cao Yangchun breathed a sigh of relief, it was a close call indeed.
"Together we can wipe out these little monkeys."
Hao Guyu spoke with a laugh, controlling the Spider Main Battle Mecha to join the fight with even more aggression.
Cao Yangchun also laughed loudly, his six sniper rifles firing back and forth, clearing out potential threats for the Spider Main Battle Mecha.
Facing the fierce offensive of the Spider Mecha, the Siam Soldiers could only hunker down behind their fortifications and trenches, or sneak around like ground rats, carrying rocket launchers and Single Soldier Anti-Tank Missiles in attempts to ambush the Spider Main Battle Mecha.
This plan was fundamentally sound. Although the Spider Main Battle Mecha had firepower points all over its body, its field of view didn't have the huge blind spots typical of tanks.
