Miao Lun's tone heightened as he mentioned the Mechanical Life Armor.
"That's good. This kind of equipment needs adjustments based on the feedback from frontline users like you. Now that your mission is complete, prepare to return."
After hanging up the phone, Miao Lun stood up and walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window of the building. He coldly watched as teams of National Guard troops cautiously entered. These teams were evacuating the civilians inside the encirclement.
Due to the large number of civilians trapped inside, numbering in the tens of thousands, even the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division, with their heavy weapons, dared not open fire recklessly.
"Captain, the National Guard downstairs is urging us to surrender. They say if we don't come out, they're going to bomb us. Also, there's a reporter downstairs who wants to interview us."
The voice of another team member came through the earpiece, laced with a hint of sarcasm.
"If they dared to bomb indiscriminately, they wouldn't have waited this long without making a move."
Miao Lun glanced down and indeed spotted a news van. God knows how it got in there.

Soon, a man and a woman got out of the news van. The man carried a camera, and the woman held a microphone, wearing a pencil skirt, and quickly made her way upstairs.
The female reporter, about forty years old, was named Blanca. She was a reporter for the Columbia Broadcasting Company, one of the three major television networks in the Beautiful Country.
She had taken the risk of coming here to get firsthand news, and she was able to enter because she had arrived before the National Guard had fully sealed off the area while the fighting was still ongoing and hadn't left since.
When Blanca was brought before Miao Lun, she felt a little nervous but more excited.
"Mr. Miao Lun, hello, I am Blanca, a reporter from the Columbia Broadcasting Company. Thank you for giving me this interview opportunity."
Blanca tried her best to maintain a smile, fearing that any misstep might anger him and lead to violence.
Miao Lun was not surprised that she knew his name; he was, after all, a famous figure in the Olympics.
"Are you on a live broadcast?"
Miao Lun glanced at the camera and asked.
"Yes, we are. Is that alright?"
Blanca was somewhat disappointed, knowing that a live broadcast of her interview would have sky-high ratings, but it seemed unlikely now.
In Blanca's view, being granted the interview itself was already very fortunate, let alone a live broadcast.

Miao Lun waved his hand, indicating that he didn't want her to stop the live broadcast.
Blanca's face lit up with joy, and she hurriedly held the microphone in front of Miao Lun.

Hearing Miao Lun use this term, Blanca's eye twitched. As far as she knew, the death toll among the National Guard at the hands of these genetic warriors was at least over a thousand. Who in their right mind claims self-defense and then kills that many soldiers? This was starting to sound like the plot of an action movie.
"The commander of the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division, Kulin, has told the media that you are holding a large number of hostages to blackmail the Beautiful Country. He says he will use all means necessary to eliminate you from Los Angeles."
"Hostages? Have you seen us take anyone hostage? On the contrary, what I've seen is them persecuting us innocent athletes. In the earlier conflicts, several athletes and civilians were killed because of their actions. They are the ones endangering our safety and freedom, and we demand an explanation."
Miao Lun retaliated with strong words.
Blanca was stunned. The righteous tone in Miao Lun's voice almost made her believe he was the victim. But in fact, over a thousand National Guard soldiers had been killed by them. Who was the real perpetrator here?
"Can you explain why you were armed and why you were equipped with single soldier mechas? If it's not a purposeful attack, why bring mechas?"

After asking a few more questions, all answered flawlessly by Miao Lun, it was clear that he was here to cause trouble and certainly wouldn't give honest answers.
After sending Blanca and her team away, several genetic warriors nearby couldn't help but laugh.
"Captain, I bet the commander of the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division will be fuming when he sees this interview."
"Ha, that has nothing to do with me. Pass the word, tell the brothers to get ready. As soon as it gets dark, we start the evacuation."
