Lukas, after looking around the alley and seeing no one was around, sighed with relief. He was actually very pleased with the people today, they saved his ass.
" Alright, give me your scarf and hide with me, we can’t go back, as you can see."
Lukas said he was smiling a little, but Annie failed to notice it as it was dark and he was taking her scarf without waiting for her to agree with him.
Annie just gave her scarf and was thinking about where they should escape now. She had no idea where they should go. Lukas, on the other hand, was certain he should not go back to the hotel he was in and call Bella afterwards.
" Let me make a call, you go alone. Nobody will chase you if you leave alone now, as they don’t know you."
Lukas said while pulling out his phone from his pocket that he wanted to call Jay to pick him up, he was getting so many people on to him that it was a hassle to deal with, and on the other hand, he also needed to go back to Princeton.
" Ouch, that hurt my feelings. You know how important it is to become famous for an actress like me? And here you are insulting the hell out of me.
Annie said, she was smirking and talking to Lukas in a little funny tone, and she was also happy that Lukas was so famous.
" Hey, you know I didn’t mean it that way. I just wanted you to be safe from this, and also, you’ll be famous in no time."
Lukas said with a smile on his face while cupping her cheeks with his hands that he was certain she would become so big that she would do so many Oscar-winning films.
" I know, hey, that worked on me, it got me really motivated, so you better watch out, otherwise I’ll be more popular than you."
Annie’s sad smile vanished, she genuinely smiled at him, her cheeks flushed a little, and nodding her head, she reassured him.
" Go, I’ll go back to Princeton today, so I’ll meet you there. Call me after finishing your shoot."
Lukas said, and Annie nodded her head, she was getting emotionally attached to Lukas.

Lukas, seeing the pop-up from the system, smiled. He stopped Annie, who was walking away from him, grabbed her hand from behind, pulled her towards him with a swift motion, and kissed her lightly on her lips.

Annie said with a big smile on her face, she looked very happy.
" It’s alright, here take this." It’s been a while since I gave you some money. Lukas gave the entire amount he just won from the system to her.
" You!!! You gave me money maybe two weeks ago, why are you giving me money again? You are spoiling me rotten.
Annie said she didn’t even touch the hard cash in Lukas’s hand, he was holding 10 ten-thousand-dollar stacks.
" Where do you keep so much money anyway?"
Annie checked Lukas’s back pocket and only found a pay stub in it, which showed he earned it by delivering sheep to a nearby farm and sold about 1800 sheep in total.
Annie was shocked to see Lukas get a check in his name by selling sheep. Lukas, on the other hand, was processing what just happened, and after realizing it, he smiled and nodded his head.
" Y...yeah, I run this secret farm, don’t tell anyone. Even my mother doesn’t know."
Lukas just played along with her and lied through his teeth. He had no idea what he got the payment for, the pay stub system always gives payments from random companies for random things.
" So? Why are you giving me your hard-earned money"?
Annie asked, and seeing how legit his money was, she touched it with gentle care. She also added a big smile to her face.
" Because a man earns for his woman, stop asking questions, you are breaking my heart. Just take it, buy yourself nice clothes and naughty stuff like that other day, and go now."
Lukas, with a wink, sent Annie her way, and then, seeing her leave and slowly disappear into the road, he sighed with relief.
" Guess you do feel a little better if you pay damages with money."
Lukas, after handing that hundred grand to Annie, felt a little guilt-free, and while whistling, he walked back to the hotel. As he was wearing the scarf, his face was covered, nobody bothered him.
Lukas saw Bella was outside his room, even after seeing him, she pretended to not know him. She was just gazing at the stars outside.
" Hey! Come on in. She left.
Lukas said with a smile at Bella, and opening the door of his room, he gestured for her to go inside.
" She left? Did you two have a fight"?
Bella asked, she was more concerned about Lukas and Annie. She slowly walked into the suite, and Lukas, entering the suite, locked the door.
" No, she just had something to do in her movies, don’t worry about her."
Lukas said, then pulled Bella onto the couch and saw the suite didn’t have any traces of Bella at all.
" Where are your clothes?"
Lukas asked if he doesn’t see her clothes at all, she somehow hid them in the suite.
" They are under the bed, I have hidden them well."
Bella stated proudly, she was smirking about it. Lukas just tapped on her shoulders with a proud nod.
" Did you call those loan sharks? We will move to Princeton in a day.
Lukas said he wanted Bella to be a free person, and he knows how bad it is to owe loan sharks money, they won’t let you live in peace.
" I did, they said they can come to Princeton as well to get their money."
Bella responded with dread on her face.
