" You know the mayoral elections are coming, right? How about you promote the mayor who came to your contract signing event"? Terry asked, while they were walking back towards Lukas’s truck, where he could change his clothes.
" I don’t know anything about that mayor, though," Lukas said while shrugging his shoulders, and then he didn’t even let Terry finish his talk and entered the truck.
Lukas didn’t want to involve himself in politics, not just yet at least, he wanted to be a neutral force for now at least.
Lukas, after changing into his normal clothes and seeing the brand he was wearing, sighed!
They didn’t even pay me shit. If I walk around wearing these clothes, it’ll be free marketing for them. I will need a new type of clothes without brand names, just plain and simple ones, or maybe some sponsored ones.
Lukas smilingly left the truck. Terry was still standing there, but this time around Henry also came in. He was looking happy and pleased with himself, he was proud of Lukas and his achievement so far.
" As we were talking, that mayor is really a good person, and I can vouch for him," Terry said. He was almost insisting.
" Yeah. Nope, we’ve read that contract several times, and there was no clause in it to support a political party, nor are we going to take any money to do that," Henry said while giving a Phillies jacket to Lukas.
"Thanks," Lukas said, as Henry just hid his branded clothes. Lukas wore the jacket and smiled at Terry, who was still waiting for him to answer.
" Tell the chairman to focus on the big picture. I can’t just involve myself not knowing anything, and even if I know something, I am not getting involved in politics. You better focus on selling more merchandise rather than some old fart." Luka, saying this, walked toward the parking lot.
" Chairman won’t be happy about it," Terry almost warned Lukas, while Lukas’s feet didn’t stop from walking at all.
" Oh yeah? Tell him to fire me, I’ll return the millions I took from him." Lukas, saying this, entered the car, while Jay closed the door after Lukas entered.
Terry was not angry at all, he also requested the chairman to not involve Lukas in politics, but the mayor was a friend of the chairman’s.
Terry walked ahead and knocked on the window of Lukas, who rolled the window back down.
" Very good, don’t involve yourself in such matters. You played really well today." Terry, saying this, fist-bumped Lukas’s chest before turning back toward the field.
Lukas looked confused, but he shook his head, removed his thought process from his brain then rolled the window back up.
Henry came back and sat beside Lukas, he looked excited and thanked God several times today.
"Go," Lukas said. He wanted to go back to the hotel and relax. After the chaotic day, he deserved some rest, maybe a little female company would be good.

"Holy shit!!" Lukas yelled it out loud, then he realized Henry and the twins were staring at him, so he calmed down and made a straight face.

Lukas reached the hotel safely and walked along the VIP lane while calling Annie, but she was still unavailable.
As he was so focused on the phone that he bumped into someone, and the person fell on the ground.
" Eh! It’s you." Lukas immediately recognized the girl, she was his flight attendant when he came with the team’s plane this morning.
" Ow, ow , I am really sorry," Bella said with her soft voice. She was also fiercely rubbing her back because she felt extreme pain when she fell on the ground.
