"Speak! Who sent you?" Austin knew whoever could call in reinforcements so quickly must have planned this in advance.

Soon, the sound of a police siren echoed from outside the parking lot.

With that said, Desmond immediately carried Seraphina upstairs, completely ignoring Austin’s feelings behind him.
Austin clenched his fists tightly, feeling a sudden emptiness in his arms, yet realizing he shouldn’t have vented his anger on Desmond.

"Mr. White, should I follow them upstairs?" Waiting until Desmond left, Dr. Zane finally dared to ask after following Austin all along.
"Go on, check on her thoroughly."
After instructing Dr. Zane, Austin immediately turned to leave.
"Doctor, how is my wife?"
Despite Desmond’s complete rejection of Austin’s presence, he hadn’t dismissed the doctor, knowing at such a crucial moment, aside from Dr. Zane brought by Austin, he found no better choice.
Granted permission by Desmond, Dr. Zane began diagnosing Seraphina while Desmond persistently questioned.
Fortunately, Dr. Zane, as an acclaimed Chinese medicine practitioner in Bayside City, wasn’t overly reliant on machines like Western medicine, able to determine Seraphina’s condition merely through pulse diagnosis.
After finishing the pulse diagnosis, Dr. Zane immediately approached Desmond with a serious demeanor, "Mr. Fairchild, I have diagnosed Miss Sinclair’s pulse earlier; she hasn’t sustained any external injuries, but her condition is very unstable.
