After the matchup, Tyler with the rest of the players of the Rising Stars Academy were driven to the Academy’s facilities. Tyler sat alone in the back seat, and was thinking about the match, reviewing his performance. He had done well enough, but well enough wasn’t going to cut it when he went pro, so he was thinking about how to improve.
Minutes later, they arrived at the Rising Stars Academy facilities and went straight to the locker room. James addressed the squad and a few minutes later, Tyler was walking alone back to his room.
Right when he was about to enter his room, he heard a familiar notification

Tyler had gotten to the door of his room by the time the system finished with his notifications. He appreciated the fact that the system seemed to only be active whenever he was alone, or in a situation where he could properly respond.
It paid to have a sensible system. Not like the ones he’d read about, making their hosts seem mad or something.
"No. I’ll allocate the stats later," Tyler said.
He stared at the door for a few seconds, preparing his mind for whatever he was going to see as he entered the room. A couple of seconds later, he finally manned up and pushed open the door.
Tyler was greeted by an unusual sight. Instead of seeing a half-naked girl running around, Tyler saw a half-naked boy.
The boy was Lenny of course, and he was sat on the floor, panting heavily. Tyler would’ve thought he had just finished some "work" if not for the various workout equipment on the floor.
"What’s going on?" Tyler asked.
"Oh... Tyler. How was your match?" Lenny asked between gasps.
"It was alright. We won." Tyler’s eyes went over to the workout equipment. "What’s going on?"
"Well, the academy managed to get me a trial with Manchester United," Lenny smiled. "Normally I’d be too old but it seems the owner of this place really has a few men at the top. Anyways, I need to be in shape for when I go. It’s an opportunity, it could be my last as I’m not getting any younger, you know. So I have to make the best of it."
Tyler nodded and dropped his bag, before leaving the room. As much as he was happy about Lenny for once doing something other than having sex in the room, he couldn’t handle the stench of sweat that had diffused all over the room. He immediately went into Jason’s room and the two of them started talking.
It was around nine in the evening when Tyler finally went back to his room. Lenny was wiped out on his bed, snoring loudly as he rested from his intense workout.
Tyler hurriedly went to his bed and started rubbing his palms excitedly.
"Can I see my stats?"

Tyler smiled slightly when he saw his stats. He had come a long way from when he first got the system.
One thing he was worried about was how to allocate the stat points he just received. He had thirty available stat points and he didn’t want to waste them.
"System, how should I allocate the stat points?"
[That depends on what host wants. If host wants to keep his versatility, then I can auto allocate it but you won’t have the maximum increase possible but if host would want to become a pure winger, then I can also auto allocate it with that in mind, and host will get the maximum increase]
Tyler stared at the text for quite some time, making up his mind. Coaches love versatility. But at the same time, he didn’t want to become one of those jack of all trades players without mastering one position well.
In the end, he decided to focus on becoming a pure winger. When he had gone far enough to be considered one of the best players in the world, he could start trying out other positions, like side quests or something.
"Focus on making me a pure winger, then auto allocate the points," Tyler said.

Tyler was surprised when he saw the improvement to his player rating. All of a sudden he started to get excited for the finals. If he could get this kind of a reward from just a semi final match, imagine what he could get if he played well and won in the final.
He started to feel a new sense of motivation, one that went beyond just getting scouted. It was the desire to improve as fast as possible. He was so motivated that he nearly started doing pushups right there and then, but then he was already very exhausted from the match he played earlier.
In the next hour, the dopamine rush from the massive improvement had already faded away, and Tyler was already sleeping on his bed.
