Unrivaled Soldier in the City Chapter 206

Although he was out of bullets, the two rounds Hajin had fired were soaring straight for Lin Kuang’s brow, more than two meters above the ground. Despite his momentary lapse, Hajin’s marksmanship was superb, his accuracy remarkably high.

But at that moment, Lin Kuang proved to be even more terrifying than Hajin had imagined. Just as Hajin’s finger twitched, in the instant before he pulled the trigger, True Qi surged through Lin Kuang’s body. Stamping his right foot on top of his left, he launched himself into the air, rising more than a meter. It was this sudden ascent that caused Hajin’s bullets to whistle harmlessly past.

Seeing this, Hajin was stunned. Is this fucking guy even human? To launch himself more than a meter into the air without any leverage, completely defying Earth’s gravity... How was that even possible?! It was no wonder Hajin was astonished; what Lin Kuang had done completely defied comprehension.

Like a great Roc Bird, Lin Kuang glided through the air, his figure materializing directly in front of Hajin, barely a foot away.

Hajin had just turned around. Seeing Lin Kuang land before him, he thought his opportunity had arrived. He immediately threw a punch straight at Lin Kuang’s head.

However, he was met by Lin Kuang’s eyes, which were cold to the absolute extreme. Hajin daren’t imagine what horrors lay within those pupils, nor what the owner of those eyes must have experienced. All he felt was an indescribable terror blooming deep in his heart. He had a premonition that if his fist moved even a fraction of an inch closer, death would be his only reward. This wasn’t a conscious thought, but a powerful, primal instinct.

At that thought, Hajin’s fist began to tremble. An instant later, it froze in mid-air, less than an inch from Lin Kuang’s head. The distance was minuscule, yet Hajin, his hand shaking violently, didn’t dare to move it forward at all. Fine beads of sweat broke out on his forehead, quickly gathering into large drops that trickled down his face and pattered audibly on the concrete below.

"What? Why did you stop?" Lin Kuang asked, his indifferent gaze fixed on Hajin, his eyes brimming with unconcealed disdain and murderous intent.

Hajin’s entire body shook, enveloped by an intense fear and the aura of death. The killing intent was potent enough to drive a man insane.

What kind of monster did Wang Ya Hao get us involved with? This... this man is a demon!

Terror-stricken, Hajin couldn’t even entertain the thought of attacking. Faced with Lin Kuang’s scornful glare, he simply didn’t dare. Seeing Hajin tremble, the mockery in Lin Kuang’s eyes deepened.

"Since you won’t make a move, don’t blame me for what comes next," Lin Kuang said flatly, his voice as calm and casual as if he were ordering a drink.

The moment his words fell, Lin Kuang moved. He threw a single punch into Hajin’s torso while simultaneously sidestepping.

BANG!

Hajin’s body was sent flying backward, a spray of blood erupting from his mouth as his face turned deathly white. He flew seven or eight meters before crashing onto his back, his chest rising and falling faintly. He wasn’t dead, but Lin Kuang’s single blow had nearly taken his life.

Lin Kuang strode over to the downed man. Looking at Hajin’s ashen face, he asked coolly, "The assassins who came for me last night were your people, weren’t they? What did Wang Ya Hao offer you to kill me? You’re American Special Forces, after all!"

Hearing this, Hajin’s expression changed. "How did you know Wang Ya Hao sent us to kill you?" he blurted out, his face a mask of disbelief. The moment the words left his mouth, he regretted them. He realized Lin Kuang had been bluffing.

"So it really was him," Lin Kuang said, a cold light flickering in his eyes. "Tsk, tsk. Wang Ya Hao. Very good. I’ll remember this." He had indeed been baiting Hajin, and the man’s subconscious reply confirmed his suspicions.

"You... you tricked me!" Hajin gasped weakly. His pale face flushed red with anger, but he was utterly spent. If he had any strength left, he would have fought Lin Kuang to the death.

Lin Kuang sneered, looking down at the man at his feet. "I did. But I’m still curious. As an American Special Forces soldier, how could Wang Ya Hao command you? Aren’t you afraid your unit will find out? Aren’t you afraid of disgracing America?"

"I’m retired from the service! I’m not a Special Forces soldier anymore!" Hajin retorted furiously, a murderous glint in his eyes. "I would never disgrace my country! Don’t you dare slander my nation!"

Seeing his reaction, Lin Kuang nodded. Hajin didn’t seem to be lying.

"I see. Well, congratulations on not disgracing your country," Lin Kuang said, his voice dripping with disdain. "But you’ve certainly disgraced its soldiers!"

Hajin opened his mouth but couldn’t form a rebuttal. The Special Forces had always been his greatest source of pride. Even though he was no longer a member, his sense of belonging to that elite brotherhood had never faded. Hearing Lin Kuang’s words and reflecting on his own actions, Hajin truly felt that he had shamed all soldiers.

Seeing the look on Hajin’s face, Lin Kuang fell silent. Some things didn’t need to be said, and besides, there was no longer any point.

Still, Wang Ya Hao needs to be taught a lesson. Some people are just stubborn until you knock some sense into them.

Just then, the Witch ran over, panting for breath. Her ample chest bounced with every step, drawing the eye. Even Lin Kuang, who had been lost in thought, found his attention captured, and he stared intently at her chest for a few moments.

The Witch, of course, noticed his gaze, and a blush crept onto her delicate, doll-like face. However, when she stopped in front of Lin Kuang, she seemed to do it deliberately, puffing out her already impressive chest.

The sight of her magnificent, jutting assets made Lin Kuang swallow hard. That girl’s chest was enough to make a man’s imagination run wild. A surge of satisfaction washed over the Witch as she saw the effect her chest had on him.

"Hmph! You jerk! Why are you so violent?" the Witch glared at Lin Kuang, her tone fierce. "When you grabbed me and threw me to the ground, my boobs almost exploded!"

As she finished speaking, her small face flushed an even deeper shade of red, as if she suddenly realized what she’d just said.
