"Your highness," The duke greeted him as soon as he saw him coming near him. Helion was about to answer when he sense a monster coming to their direction.
The duke also sense it and was about to his own sword when Helion pulled his sword and he infuses his mana to the sword and without any hesitation he throw it at the dukes back where he sense the monster was coming.
"Let's finish all these duke," Helion said as he get his sword back at the monster who now lying dead in the ground.
He knew that by now the duke also learned about the letter that he doesn't know who sent it to the duchy in the first place.
He runs toward where the monster are and he saw the duke was also coming there. These past few weeks the empire of Tenebrisaya has been sending them lots of monster, and what's worst is some of monsters were made from the dead body of people.
It is known that empire of Tenebrisaya was using some dark magic to make their weapon, and that is the body of those dead people, and some were made from their experiment using dark magic. Sullaivan Tenebrisaya was their emperor who was crowned by slaying his own father. He slayed every brothers and sister he had who might threaten his claim to the thrown, and now they are sending some monsters here in the north of all places.
Helion saw a monster walking near him this time it was not the dead people but this one was the experimented one which cannot b killed easily.
He uses his power to test whether it will affect the monster or not but it was just cause a little damage to the monster.
The monster attack him using its power, that's what caught him in surprise. That's when it finally hits him, this monster... it may look the same as the other one that they made using the dark magic but it was different.
He curses as he tried to infuse some of his powers to the swords but the same result. He tried and tried hitting it with his power as well as slaying it using his sword until it was killed.
He looked around and saw that many of his and the duke's knight were struggling in killing the monsters.
"Just hit and hit it faster until it dies," He shouted and he saw everyone nodded in struggle.
This monster might have some powers in them and hard to killed but it still lack its own speed. Damn, how can that bloody emperor do such things? why would he do this in the first place?
He uses his speed and slaughtered so many monsters, he can smell the mixture of blood and sweat as he was fighting.
"Damned it," Someone shouted as he throw his glass in the corner of the room.
"Y-your m-m-majesty," the man said as he was afraid to say any word as he can see how angry the emperor is.
"Summon that stupid man he was not doing his job!" The emperor shouted and the man trembled as he feared to anger their mad emperor.
"H-h-he was not here," The other man said as he looked down as he was too afraid to meet the emperor's eyes.
The other people who were also their was trembling in fear as they know how cruel the emperor is.
"That's why I told you to summon him here, bring him here in front of me no matter where he is," The emperor shouted and everyone was startled as they were shaking in fear.
"But your majesty, it's hard to go their," One man bravely said and everyone looked at him and giving him a look telling him to shut up.
The emperor looks at him and gave him a blank stare but he was smiling maniacally.
"And who are you again?" The emperor asked as he walked near the man and the man just smiled thinking that it was his time to be recognized by the emperor.
These men with him was afraid of the emperor but he wasn't, he's going to cling on him so that he can get some powers to control him, and he will be the one to rule this kingdom.
"I am Lord Brinidiford," How proudly said as he looked straight in the eyes of the emperor which he wish he dare not.
He saw the man standing in front of him, smiling maniacally like he just saw a perfect prey for his hunt.
He took a step back when the emperor tried to grab him, he looked around trying to ask for help but he saw that everyone their was just looking at the floor like they didn't see him.
He screamed when the emperor finally caught him.
Everyone who was in the room pretend not to see anything as the emperor grabbed Lord Brinidiford and heard his scream.
They knew better than to trigger more the emperor and what Lord Brinidiford did just made it worst.
"I will say it once again, bring that man here at all cost, " they heard the emperor said and they also heard footstep walking away from them.
The council only lift their head when they heard the door slammed, their they saw the dead body of Lord Brinidford, his head was detach from his body as well as his tongue.
Everyone who saw the body almost throw up but they remember that if they do that the emperor will surely punish them for that.
They all decide to follow the emperors order no matter where the man and at all costs.

Acantha had a dream last night, she dreamt some dragon who was calling her with other name. the man was calling her "Solaia," which is odd as her name is either Lucille before or Acantha now.
But who was Solaia? and she didn't even got the chance to see his face and know his name as she heard that Mildred was already trying to wake her up.
"My lady, the duke sent a messenger here this morning while you were still sleeping, he told the messenger to tell you that he will becoming home this week as they already put some barrier on the North to ensure that no monster will attack it nor no Tenebrisayan will pass on it.
Mildred said but what lingers on my mind is he was going home here. Shiit I'm so dead, surely my father won't let my head to roll down does he?
I put my face as I wanted to scream in frustration but If I did that surely I will get the people's attention and they might think that the duke's daughter had gone mad.
