Chapter 16: Prudence (2)
As the arrow came flying towards him, Draven dashed to the side and out of its way.
But as he did, Prudence winked at him, again.
The arrow's direction changed, impossibly.
Interesting. She has tricks.
The arrow seemed to follow him, as though they were both magnets.
And whilst he was still backing away from the incoming arrow, Prudence fired another aimed directly at him.
Okay. Enough with her games.
With all of his leg's power, Draven jumped backwards into the air.
He was so high that the arrows struggled to remain locked onto him and crashed into each other.
Whilst in the air, he watched Prudence land on the ground with another arrow knocked.
She fired it at him, and it came with incredible speed.
But Draven had used foresight. He knew its exact trajectory.
It was aimed at his heart. A killing blow.
As the arrow neared him, he twisted and caught it with his bare hands.
A look of shock came across the woman's face, guessing Draven's next intentions.
He spun as he fell back to the ground, and hurled the arrow with impossible speed aimed towards her.
Thrown with intent to kill. He wished to truly test her.
Prudence dived out of the way, just about saving herself from a fatal blow.
The arrow of blood sliced her in the shoulder, shredding the jean jacket that she wore and spilling her blood onto the grass.
However, Draven was still not done.
He outstretched his hands towards the blood that fell from her body and manipulated it.
As the blood began to increase in size and float in the air, steaming with heat that he had added, Prudence looked at it in fear.
She was lying on the ground, staring at the unmoving boiling liquid as it hovered before her like a ghost.
She could not do anything. If she moved from the ground, Draven would throw the boiling blood on her.
Just like that, it was his victory.
He released his grip on the blood and allowed it to evaporate into the air.
Prudence let out a sigh of relief, which made Draven smile.
"Good fighting, Third Rank!" He shouted from where he stood and turned to make his way back to the estate. "Better than others have done."
The other Eversleepers had been watching, in awe. He bowed as he walked past them, despite him telling them to focus on their training.
However, Draven's mind was on something else.
The third ranker is strong, I can tell. If I had not shut down the battle so fast by using my foresight and manipulating her own blood, who knows what other abilities she would have pulled from her pocket?
...
I like her.
"Master Draven!" His thoughts were cut off as footsteps came from behind him, followed by a shout.
It was Prudence. The wound in her arm had already begun to heal since it was one made from her blood.
Vampires had built immunity against their own blood strikes. Otherwise, they would experience many problems during battle.
She had lost the playful look on her face and tone; now she looked worried.
"If I've failed to impress you on the field... Then, at least, I make It up to you in the chambers... Please, Master."
The last words were added after a short break, she had forgotten to speak politely once again.
But it was her clumsy cuteness that prevented him from holding himself back.
So he took the woman to his chambers.

As Prudence lay on his king-sized bed, wearing nothing, Draven was given a view of the curves that were hidden beneath her casual clothes.
Her breasts were soft and large, and her nipples a brown colour, much different from the paler vampires.
She used her hands to cover her privates with shyness, but Draven moved them out of the way and entered inside of her.

So he placed his hand on the back of her head and pressed it into the bed as he drilled into her from behind.

Yes. Prudence is definitely my favourite so far.
