Tang Yuxiu’s words made Gu Yan quite unhappy. How could this guy take advantage and still complain about her figure!
Gu Yan laughed sarcastically, "I don’t know who can’t control himself every time and wants to get on top of me."
Tang Yuxiu snorted coldly, "As a normal man, having a woman under you, having desire is normal. Don’t think you’re so attractive."
Gu Yan glared at him hard, reached out and shoved him in frustration, then decisively climbed onto the bed and lay down.
She tilted her head towards Tang Yuxiu, "You better not have a normal reaction to an injured person, you’d be a pervert."
"Don’t worry, even if you stripped naked and jumped on me now, I wouldn’t touch you." Tang Yuxiu said, with a hint of spite.
He sat down at the edge of the bed, took the medicinal liquor and opened it. A pungent smell hit him, making him frown tightly.
If he hadn’t mentally prepared, he would have instinctively thrown this thing far away.
Gu Yan laughed gleefully, "How is it, smells nice? Comfortable?"
Tang Yuxiu shot her a glare, "You have a sharp tongue. Aren’t you afraid I’ll take revenge on you later?"
Gu Yan immediately straightened up her expression and looked at him quite seriously, "As a man, how can you be so petty? I’m already injured, and you still want to mistreat me. Where’s the humanity? The kindness?"
"Why should I need those things for you?" Tang Yuxiu said, "Stop talking nonsense, besides your right shoulder, where else are you injured? Lift your shirt yourself."
Gu Yan replied, using her uninjured left hand to lift her whole shirt up, but still covered a small part.
Even though she exposed most of her back, Gu Yan couldn’t help blushing.
Tang Yuxiu didn’t notice her expression, only when he saw the long stick bruise on her back, a trace of pain flashed by his eyes imperceptibly.
Though he wasn’t exactly a good person, he knew even a tiger doesn’t eat its cubs. Even if she was an adopted daughter, why be so cruel after raising her for years?
Now he truly regretted not giving that woman a good beating!
"This is blocking part of it, inconvenient. Take off your top." Tang Yuxiu collected his emotions and said calmly, without a hint of impropriety or desire.
Gu Yan’s cheeks reddened even more, "Do I really have to take it off?"
"It’s very late now, the sooner you apply the medicinal liquor, the sooner you can sleep."
Tang Yuxiu said this, and Gu Yan had nothing more to say. She quietly crawled up and told him, "Turn around first."
Tang Yuxiu gave her a deep look and turned his back in silence.
Though Gu Yan felt a bit puzzled by his silent behavior, she was quite satisfied.
Hesitatingly, she took off her top with one hand and immediately lay face down on the bed, her arms tightly along her sides, completely exposing her back.
"Alright, you can start."
Tang Yuxiu turned around, looking at the unbroken line of bruises on her back, his eyes darkening.
He poured some medicinal liquor onto his hand and began to rub it from her shoulder.
The cool sensation on her shoulder made her shiver involuntarily, and the sting spread throughout her body, making her frown tightly but she bit her lip silently.
"If it hurts, say it."
"What’s the use of saying it, it still hurts."
"Now you realize, next time don’t be so stupid as to stand there letting her hit you without fighting back."
Gu Yan bit her lip, "This time it’s because she hit my hand, my hand hurt too much and I forgot to dodge, that’s why."
