"Snap!"
The sound of a heavy slap echoed, making it clear how hard that slap was.
Even though Bella Acker had really fallen asleep just now, she was now awakened by that slap.
"So painful..." Bella Acker opened her eyes pitifully, turned her head and looked at Damian Sinclair accusingly, "You hit me so hard."
"Not pretending to sleep anymore?" Damian Sinclair squinted at her.
Bella Acker pouted, "I’m not pretending to sleep, I really am very tired."
"Will you still dare to drink alcohol in the future?" Damian Sinclair clearly didn’t want to let this question go easily.
"It’s not like I wanted to drink." Bella Acker rubbed her butt, sprawled on his lap like a spoiled child, refusing to get up. Thinking about being forced to drink, thinking about the incident of almost being assaulted, tears of grievance and fear welled up in her eyes.
A perfectly fine life suddenly turned into such a mess, all because of the man beside her.
Bella Acker sniffed, the more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt, she raised her hand to wipe her eyes, muttering to herself, "It’s all your fault."
The two were so close that even if she muttered softly, Damian Sinclair could still hear it.
Seeing her wiping away tears with a look of grievance, he was both angry and amused. He couldn’t help but turn her around again and let her straddle his lap anew before saying, "Now you’re blaming me?"
"Just blaming you." Bella Acker glared at him, sniffing and pouting, "Don’t think I can’t see. Vivian Norris deliberately forced me to drink because of your attitude towards me. A troublemaker, who else should I blame but you?"
When did he become a troublemaker?
Damian Sinclair looked at her tear-stained, pitiful face, yet she was trying to act fierce. He couldn’t help but laugh, "Fine, even if it’s my fault, couldn’t you refuse?"
"She is an award-winning actress, I’m just a newcomer nobody. How could I refuse her? Unless I don’t want to act anymore." Bella Acker wrinkled her nose, thinking it still wasn’t enough, she snorted twice heavily.
Damian Sinclair held her waist with one hand and wiped away her tears with the other, "And what do you plan to do in the future? Always endure it?"
"No way!" Bella Acker unceremoniously slapped his hand away, lifted her chin and said, "Just watch, if she tries to mess with me again, see how I handle her. And President Lloyd..."
Speaking of President Lloyd, her body involuntarily trembled a little.
A shadow passed through Damian Sinclair’s eyes, "I’ll deal with him, you don’t need to worry about him. With me here, don’t be afraid." As he spoke, he gently patted her back, comforting her.
Bella Acker stopped crying, just stared at him with wide eyes.
Her appearance was pitiful, her eyes were watery and bright, her little mouth red and particularly enticing. Damian Sinclair’s eyes darkened, as he looked, he couldn’t help but hold her chin and kissed her.
Whether it was because of the recent frightening incident or the influence of alcohol, she didn’t refuse Damian Sinclair’s kiss.
Their lips stuck closely together and entwined. Damian Sinclair seemed to soothe her inner fears with surprising tenderness. His tongue gently caressed her soft lips before slowly prying open her teeth and entering her mouth.
Perhaps because of the alcohol, her mouth was warm and feverish, carrying the sweet fragrance of wine, extremely intoxicating.
Having been together for such a long time, Damian Sinclair was very aware of Bella Acker’s every sensitive spot, effortlessly making her breathless.
