After getting ready, the two of them went downstairs together, planning to find a Chinese restaurant for a casual meal.
Just as they got off the elevator into the hotel’s lobby, someone quickly approached them.
President Sinclair’s assistant took a few steps forward and nodded politely to both of them before saying, "Ms. Acker, could I have a word with you alone?"
Sharon understood, "Bella, I’ll wait for you over there."
Bella nodded and looked at President Sinclair’s assistant, "What can I do for you?"
She appeared calm on the outside, but inside she was quite anxious.
Could it be that Damian wants to drag her back again? Or is it another one of his pesky tricks to make things difficult for her?
The assistant smiled politely and said, "Here’s the thing, Ms. Acker. The Boss asked me to convey his message. He accepted the three hundred dollars you gave and hopes you’ll continue to support his business." After finishing, the assistant couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his mouth, looking at Bella with admiration.
Bella found the admiration in his eyes puzzling, but at the moment, her mind was entirely focused on what Damian had said, with no time to guess what the assistant was thinking.
Surely Damian was upset when he said that, but she couldn’t be blamed for it.
Who told him to have someone he likes but still come and mess with her? She just wanted to draw a line and avoid ruining his relationship. How could that be her fault?
Bella felt aggrieved and didn’t know who to talk to about it, yet Damian kept bullying her.
She can’t keep letting him bully her like this; she needs to be stronger, hmm!
Determined, Bella said sternly, "Please go back and tell President Sinclair that I understand. As long as his service quality is good, I will consider whether to patronize him again."
The Boss’s service quality? Is it referring to the quality of his service in bed?
Tsk tsk, Ms. Acker indeed is not an ordinary person, completely different from those women who always want to climb into the Boss’s bed!
If others knew Ms. Acker had countless opportunities to sleep with the Boss but didn’t care to, they would be insanely jealous.
The Boss being in bed and seemingly being disliked, why does the assistant feel a little excited just thinking about it?
The assistant immediately warned himself in his heart, the Boss is his employer, how could he think of laughing at his employer like this? Well, it’s okay to gloat a little in his mind occasionally, but he must not show it.

The assistant’s smile widened, completely unlike the previously polite, superficial smile, "Ms. Acker, you are my idol. I’ll be off now, goodbye." With that, he turned and walked away briskly.
"Huh?" Bella blinked twice, not understanding how she suddenly became his idol out of nowhere.
How long had he been waiting in the hotel lobby just to convey that message?
Bella watched as the assistant’s figure disappeared at the lobby’s entrance, ultimately not figuring it out, so she simply put it out of her mind.
"Ms. Cheney, let’s go, I’m starving." Bella moved up to take Ms. Cheney’s arm, leaning on her with a smile.
Sharon didn’t ask anything, and the two of them walked towards the hotel exit, coincidentally running into Farah Garner and Rhonda, who were returning from their meal.
Farah and Rhonda walked ahead, followed by some other new actors, clearly showing that the two had become leading figures among these newcomers.
Seeing Farah and Rhonda, the smile on Bella’s face vanished.
As they brushed past each other, Farah glanced coldly at Bella and deliberately raised her voice to mock, "What goes around comes around. Some people shouldn’t get too pleased with themselves. Sooner or later, they’ll face consequences."
