112 A Lesson
“Luo Ying? There is no quarrel between us, right? What are you doing?” Han Min looked at Luo Ying’s hand that was holding her wrist.
Han Min tried to shake off Luo Ying’s hand, but Luo Ying held on tightly. Luo Ying was slender, but she was well-trained.
Han Min frowned. “What is the meaning of this? Let go. Don’t you know my background?”
“Oh, everyone knows your background, alright. Is this how your mother taught you?” Luo Ying spoke slowly.
Han Min felt the killing intent in Luo Ying’s eyes. She suppressed a shudder and glared at her with hatred. “My mother wouldn’t let go of anyone who ruined my clothes.”
Han Min raised up her dress and showed it off. “Do you know how much this dress costs? It’s the work of the famous designer David. This one costs ten million.”
Min Yu lowered her head. Her hair was disheveled. She couldn’t help but tremble when she heard the price Han Min mentioned.
This was not a small number.
Min Yu’s family were only blue-collar workers. She had been fairly successful in her career, but she had just only opened up her studio. It was a shaky period. She was afraid that it would take years to repay that sum.
“Ten million?” Luo Ying looked up and down at Han Min’s clothes.
She had worked with David before. This was not his style. This piece of clothing probably had no deep relationship with David. It was just a sub-brand of his studio.
In the early stages of Min Yu’s career, she didn’t have many connections and didn’t know much about such luxury, so she naturally had to suffer in silence.
“Even so, you shouldn’t have struck her, Ms. Han Min.” Luo Ying pulled Min Yu up and looked at her with pity.
Su Ran, who was standing at the side, spoke up. “Luo Ying, you can’t always protect Min Yu. This matter was originally her fault. If it wasn’t for her carelessness, Han Min wouldn’t have been so angry.”
Su Ran’s voice was gentle, and almost everyone in the room looked over to her.
“Su Ran is so kind. She’s even helping Luo Ying out of trouble, even after that debacle with Lin Su.”
“Yes, yes. Look at Luo Ying. She even dared to offend Han Min.”
Luo Ying glared at Su Ran. “Su Ran, you’re being a bit naive here. Getting into a physical altercation with someone can be considered anything from minor provocation and causing trouble, to more severe intentional harm. If I recall correctly, Ms. Min Yu even turned down the opportunity to write a song for Ms. Han Min at one point.”
“Is it too much to say that you don’t have a personal vendetta against the poor woman?” Luo Ying’s eyes stared straight at Han Min.
Han Min avoided her gaze. She had indeed done this out of spite.
Min Yu had turned her down many times before. Even when she offered a very high price, Min Yu had not agreed to her request.
Today, she saw Luo Ying talking to Jin Shi. Apparently, she also had a good relationship with Min Yu, so she took it out on her.
Luo Ying was in the limelight now, and she couldn’t afford to offend her, but she could still make things difficult for Min Yu.
“Your mother probably wouldn’t want you to make things difficult for others, right, Ms. Han? You probably wouldn’t want your mother to have to defend her name, right?” Luo Ying smiled at Han Min.
