"In that case, let’s not waste words," Li Xiu showed no interest in prolonging the conversation with Su Bancheng.
However, Su Bancheng didn’t seem ready to act immediately; instead, he said with a smile, "Commander Li, there’s no rush. I’m only here to compete for the position of Commander. There’s no enmity between us, so there’s no need for a fight to the death. How about we battle in a different manner?"
"What manner?" Li Xiu asked as he began to smile.
He had seen these tricks many times before; those Magic Armor Masters who challenged him had used such ploys often.
Su Bancheng wanting to change the battle method surely wasn’t out of a desire to avoid causing harm; he merely wished to make Li Xiu’s defeat more humiliating.

He volunteered before to guard the Gate of Extreme Evil, likely to super-spirit the Karma Armor. Now that he’s back, I reckon the Karma Armor has indeed achieved Super Spirit status."
After a glance at Su Bancheng, Wan Chaoxin continued, "He deliberately suggested such a strategy to provoke Li Xiu. Standing still to receive ten hits is a sheer insult. Any man with a bit of spirit would unlikely wait for all ten hits, probably giving his all on the first blow, determined to down Su Bancheng immediately so that he loses face."
Wan Chaojue suddenly understood, "But because of Su Bancheng’s Karma Armor, the stronger Li Xiu’s strike, the more significant the damage reflected back. That first strike might cause Li Xiu substantial harm, or even kill him outright, through his strength. Su Bancheng is indeed cunning and ruthless."
"Isn’t such a Parasitic Contract essentially rendering Su Bancheng invincible? Others may hurt him, but he remains unscathed," Wan Chaohua questioned, frowning.
"Not invincible. If it were me, I would have a way to break his Karma Armor," replied Wan Chaoxin nonchalantly.
"How would you break it?" Wan Chaojue asked curiously.
"Must you ask everything instead of thinking on your own? If you always need to ask before confronting enemies in the future, will you even be able to fight?" Wan Chaoxin gave him a stern look.
Wan Chaojue scratched his head sheepishly, "I honestly can’t think of it. You know I’m not great at thinking."
Wan Chaoxin replied helplessly, "Can’t you think why Su Bancheng would try to humiliate and provoke Li Xiu so hard?"
After a moment, Wan Chaojue slapped his leg with realization, "Is it that the Karma Armor can only be used once, so he wants to provoke Li Xiu to unleash his full power in the first strike?"
"While not entirely accurate, your reasoning isn’t wrong," nodded Wan Chaoxin, "Karma Armor isn’t limited to a single use. However, the skill cannot be continuously used without interruption. If the first strike is used to trigger the Karma Armor’s skill, then a quick second strike to break through it would make breaking the Karma Armor as easy as pie."
