On Monday, Tang Yanqi got up early to prepare to go to school. She had just finished getting ready and stepped out of the bathroom when she saw Sheng Jianan, already awake, standing in front of the mirror, tying his tie.
She had deliberately gotten up early, before seven, a time when Sheng Jianan usually was still asleep.
However, Sheng Jianan, as the CEO of Shengshi Group, was always busy, so Tang Yanqi didn’t think much of it, just went downstairs and ate a simple breakfast before heading out.
Just as Tang Yanqi reached the entrance to change shoes, she heard Sheng Jianan’s voice behind her, turned around and saw Sheng Jianan taking the packed breakfast from Mrs. Zhang and walking briskly toward her.
"I’ll drive you to school."
