Goli Desert's construction project contractor, Bai Fu, made her entrance.
She had decided to significantly reduce the number of commissioned tasks and call all players to work on the construction site.
"Work hard for thirty days, build a new homeland!"
"Goli Desert is our home, prosperity relies on everyone!"
After arriving at Shelter 11, Bai Fu first met with Gao Yuan.
Before setting off to stir up trouble in Black Mountain City, she had instructed Gao Yuan and Old Nison to find ways to bring more players from outside, and they took her order very seriously. In the days she was away, they managed to recruit nearly a thousand players. Adding those who came on their own, the player count in the Silent Court had already surpassed four thousand and was rapidly approaching the five thousand mark.
She planned five bases with Resurrection Points for the current phase of the Goli Desert construction, allocating an average of a thousand players to each base, which was more than sufficient.
"The plan to bring in the Undying cannot stop; chaos will soon erupt outside. The more Undying we control by then, the safer we'll be," Bai Fu reminded Gao Yuan once again.
Gao Yuan nodded vigorously.
He was incredibly pleased.
Initially, he had chosen to cooperate with Bai Fu simply because he believed in her power. He could hardly have imagined that in just a few short months, Bai Fu would become a major figure on Ancestral Origin Star, and the Silent Court a force that even the five great powers dared not underestimate.
He had wanted to secure his position as the Family Head and build a commission platform similar to the Dark Web to increase his family's power, but looking at the current development, there was a chance that one day he might even sit on equal footing with the lord of the Makarov Family behind the Dark Web.
There was no doubt this was his best investment!

After leaving Gao Yuan's office at Shelter 11, Bai Fu went to see Old Nison and Little Julia.
Although she was the nominal contractor, she couldn't really be on the construction site directing the players; she needed to grind for Experience. At most, she would occasionally visit the site to cheer the players on, but the rest of the time, Old Nison would take care of the management.
Old Nison was very enthusiastic.
To him, the events of the past few months were like a dream. He cherished this hard-earned opportunity and was excited to be able to participate in this grand reconstruction.
"There's no need for thanks. Even without your influence, I would do my best to build this place since I've chosen to root myself in the Goli Desert."
"I know. I'm not just thanking you for that, but also for Carl..."
As he spoke, Old Nison couldn't help but be moved.
It was absolutely unnecessary for Bai Fu to kill the traitor, Carl, and even less so to bring his body back to Shelter 11, but she did it anyway.

Old Nison secretly resolved to oversee the construction well, ensuring that no Undying could complain about Bai Fu. If there were any complaints, he would take the blame onto himself.
That was the way of the Silent Court; Bai Fu just needed to play the role of a compassionate Female Bodhisattva, while the rest of the complex matters could be left to others.
Walking home, Bai Fu smiled at the players who kept taking pictures of her along the way.
"Our Silent Court is really thriving!"
She pushed the door open, finding An Ya, who was doing accounts.
An Ya leapt up from the sofa.
Bai Fu said, "There are now many members in the Silent Court, and you can't handle the shop on your own. Forget about managing it; from now on, you should follow Old Nison and learn how to manage the Silent Court. If I leave Ancestral Origin Star one day, I might have to leave you in charge here."
After hearing this, An Ya's smile disappeared, and deep concern took its place.
"Boss, are you abandoning me?"
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Bai Fu glared at her in annoyance.
"Hehe." An Ya immediately laughed, "I knew the boss wouldn't abandon me, but what do you mean by leaving Ancestral Origin Star?"
Bai Fu rolled her eyes.

But seeing An Ya acting so well indeed reassured her; that was the quality of a competent Silent Court manager.
If her heart wasn't dark enough, she couldn't extract enough from the players; if she couldn't act, she wouldn't be able to make the players feel they weren't losing out while she profited from them.
Bai Fu explained, "I'll have to leave Ancestral Origin Star someday, but since I'm not sure of the specifics, I can't confirm whether I will be able to take you with me. If it's not convenient, you might have to stay on Ancestral Origin Star a bit longer, until I get a firm footing in interstellar space."
An Ya seemed to only half understand but didn't dwell too much on it. She only knew that her boss Bai Fu was like the sky, and believing in the sky was the right thing to do.
In the last few days before the 1.2 version update, Bai Fu spent most of her time grinding for Memory Fragments and making Prayer Cards, using the remainder to inspect the various construction sites.
Most players didn't actually know construction, but since it was a game after all, completing the task was as simple as filling the progress bar according to the game's prompts.
In this round of massive construction tasks, a few players unexpectedly became popular within the Community, like Convert to my Fu.
