The immense commotion finally caught the attention of the A-Class Superpower User Frick from the upper levels.
He rushed down in anger, and before he had a chance to curse anyone out, he saw a player laughing hysterically as they detonated a "Summoning Ghost" card in their hand.
The player was gone, the Slave Trader who had been holding him was gone, and his handsome hairstyle was blown away as well.
Frick roared, a ghastly green light shining from his body, empowered by his strength.
"I'm going to kill you all!"
As his roar echoed, a player finally made it to the control panel and pressed the button to open the spaceship's hatch.
The door burst open, and there, standing behind it holding the Dark Wand, was Bai Fu.
Spiral Energy Bullets poured out like rain, and the Slave Traders closest to the door had their heads pierced by the bullets. A mix of white and red splashed out of the translucent holes and stuck to the ceiling of the spaceship.
Frick's pupils shrank suddenly; he felt that Bai Fu's power could very well match his own.
"She's mine to deal with; you handle these captives and also contact the leader to get him back here quick!"
Frick took a step forward and appeared in front of Bai Fu as if by Instant Teleportation, throwing a punch wrapped in a deep purple poison fog.
A poison attribute attack?
Bai Fu's eyelids twitched; it was her first time facing such an enemy.
Fortunately, she came prepared. As Frick neared her, Julia behind her suddenly expanded her Superpower Field.
The Superpower Field Julia wielded could target enemies exclusively, without hitting allies. This was her unique talent, a high precision control effect for Spiritual Energy.
Pushed by the repulsion from the Superpower Field, Frick's body became momentarily imbalanced. Bai Fu seized the opportunity and approached him. The Spear Form of the Dark Wand pierced the air like black lightning, zapping Frick's chest with a fizzy crackle.
The sound of iron being struck rang out, and Frick let out a cold laugh.
He was wearing high-defense Nano Armor; such an attack could never hurt him!
He was about to spread the poison fog in his palm when suddenly, a cry of alarm sounded from behind: "Lord Frick, look out!"

He turned around to see that the ones who shot were on his side, and his rage soared even higher.
The two Slave Traders who were under his furious gaze were almost smoking with stress. It's not that they wanted to, but they suddenly lost control over their bodies.
In fact, it was Julia's Spirit Master Skill that was playing tricks, a skill that had previously given Players a tough time.
Bai Fu wouldn't give Frick the chance to be distracted; she went straight for the quality combo—
Dark Wand's barrage to seal the movement, followed by a Spiritual Explosion for added output!

With the Players' help, the hostages shakily ran out of the spaceship.
While the fighting had stopped here, Bai Fu was still locked in a stalemate with Frick.
As a Mage, Bai Fu seldom engaged in remote duels. Her skills were primarily geared towards close-range output. But this time she met an old poison master, so she could only keep pulling against Frick.
She didn't dis feeling; with the support of the Illusionary Law Ball and Dark Thorns, she could keep outputting almost without interruption.
