Manu had his mind set on making a final stand, risking his own life to eradicate the insect infestation once and for all, leaving no more crises for future generations.
"Bai Fu, I remember you once mentioned that if you could obtain new advanced knowledge, or knowledge related to the production of Prayer Cards, there would be a chance for a breakthrough, speeding up the production of Prayer Cards?"
Manu opened his communicator and contacted the person in charge of the Star Network Community's Heavenly Lake Star campaign via a private network.
"I previously mentioned that I needed S-rank Spiritual Ability System advanced knowledge and Prayer Card blueprints, the knowledge related to producing Prayer Cards. How is the application on your end progressing?"
"Manu, this is a bit complicated, as you know these things..."
"Cut the crap!" Manu harshly interrupted the person on the other end of the communicator. "I don't care about complicated. What I know is that I and the soldiers here are fighting for our lives for the Star Network Community. If you want to win this war, send me what I need. I don't have the time to argue with you. Do it now, right away, immediately!"
A massive and formidable presence suddenly emanated from him, born from the blood and carnage he had faced.
Even across the vast distance, the person on the other end of the communicator was terrified.
"Calm down. I'm going to submit the application right now."
Within minutes, Manu received the documents from the person in charge.
He took off his communicator and handed it directly to Bai Fu.
"Please handle this."
Bai Fu was surprised and hadn't expected to gain new advanced knowledge in such a manner, but she readily accepted it, as she wasn't there to freeload.
It took her nearly half an hour to digest all the knowledge Manu had given her.
The new knowledge had unlocked two new skills for her: [Miracle Resonance] and [Summoning Judge]. The former was a super-rare skill similar to Julia's [Blessing Link] which, once bound with a target, allowed both parties to enjoy an additional 3% in all attributes. The latter was a skill to summon a True Spirit, capable of flight, whose primary offensive method was akin to a thunder-gun called Spiritual Ability Judge's Gun.
Bai Fu decisively bound herself with Julia, creating a dual-channel link that equated to genuine free trade and the sharing of benefits between them.
Besides these two skills, she also acquired a number of new Prayer Card blueprints: like [Land of Confinement] that could trap enemies in a Spiritual Ability Cage, like [Spirit Storm] that could create a wide-area Spiritual Ability Storm, or like [Phantom Whisper] capable of creating multiple illusions.
Although her card production speed had not increased, her new skills and blueprints had enriched her combat methods more than twofold.
With the Judge+Gunner+Big Black Fu+Little Bai Fu+Little Black Fu+Black Fu, her True Spirit Legion formation strategy was now taking shape.
With various restriction cards and damage card combinations, she also had more tactical options in her card-based battle method.
Bai Fu dove into her new workshop, and with Julia's magic refilling, she quickly made a large number of new cards.
More than two hours later, news from outside indicated that the Dark Domain Insect Clan had launched a new round of attacks, seemingly determined to breach the last line of defense.

As Bai Fu appeared atop the city walls, cheers rang out all around, fueling a surge in morale.
Initially positioned merely as a support, under countless watchful eyes, she was elevated to a leader of unyielding spirit, suddenly shining with a brilliance reminiscent of a main character, one that far outshone even Fei Ye.

Bai Fu handed Manu the extra cards, then released two of her own.
The cards transformed into points of light, and on the plain a massive square cage hundreds of meters in edge appeared, trapping countless insects. Moments later, a storm like a tornado swept through the cage, mowing down the insect lives like grass.
