Eva Nightingale always wanted to reclaim the Nightingale Family shares and was planning to discuss it with her uncle, but her uncle seemed very busy these days.
Her uncle was a busy person, and Eva Nightingale had no way to find him. Besides, this Dark Lord seemed unwilling when she mentioned asking her uncle for help!
"Did you hear me?" Lucas Knight’s tone was clearly commanding, indicating he was used to issuing orders.
He calmly took off his suit and put on a casually elegant robe.
Only then did he hold her and take her downstairs.
Eva Nightingale had just gotten up and hadn’t even had breakfast before he hugged her and kissed her fiercely.
The man’s demeanor remained indifferent, yet his tone showed concern: "Eat more, baby, you’ve lost some weight recently!"
While kissing her and holding her, he’d noticed she was thinner than before, and her face was a bit pale. She clearly hadn’t been eating or sleeping well recently.
Damn it, seeing her made his heart ache again.

But she didn’t touch the bowl of porridge before her and didn’t want to drink the milk either.
As she looked at the man in front of her, she always felt he was different from before, or rather... she felt like she was dreaming!

She wasn’t a child anymore, and despite having no appetite, she forced herself to drink the bowl of porridge in front of him.
Lucas Knight carried her back to the bedroom.
He had rushed back from China overnight and had been very busy the past few days. Initially, he was in a bad mood, but seeing her eased his furrowed brows slightly.
Now, holding her, he intended to take a nap.
"Baby, sleep with me for a while."
"..." Sleep? When Eva Nightingale heard the word sleep, she recalled her ’glorious’ history of not being able to get out of bed in the past, and her little eyebrows furrowed up.
"I don’t want to sleep, hubby... please... no more."
"..." He breathed softly, a slight smirk on his lips. What was going through this little woman’s mind?
It’s just sleeping, so why was she so nervous?
Only to hear Eva Nightingale continue: "Let me tell you, my period’s here, you can’t run a red light, hmph!"
The man halted his steps, and his entire face turned icy cold.
His tone was even colder: "Harry, prepare the car, we’re going to the Military District Hospital!"
Outside, Harry North naturally looked utterly bewildered!
And Eva Nightingale was even more baffled: "For my period, there’s no need to go to the hospital... uh."
Before she could finish, her chattering little mouth was lightly pecked by the man.
His nerves were completely tense! Damn it! Was there something inside her belly, yet her period came...? Did she get hurt in these past few days... was there bleeding?
He was extremely anxious.
He seemed ready to get rid of all the servants in the High General Mansion, cold enough to make everyone tremble with fear.
