Since it’s a banquet, drinking is inevitable.
Eva Nightingale had just picked up a glass of champagne, ready to take a sip, when a large hand stopped her.
Sebastian Yansford took the drink from her hand and handed her a glass of strawberry milk tea instead. "Sweetheart, no drinking tonight!"
His tone was cold and commanding, yet his gaze was full of affection.
Eva Nightingale smiled, "Uncle! Since when did you become so controlling?"
Sebastian Yansford knew that Eva Nightingale had liked drinking since she was young, and sometimes even smoked. This wasn’t exactly a secret!
In the past, Sebastian Yansford never meddled in such things concerning her!
Why was he suddenly not letting her drink today!
"No drinking means no drinking."
"When I say no drinking, it means no drinking!"
"Oh~" Eva Nightingale was very puzzled.
"That’s a good girl. You need to behave." He pinched her little face, full of affection. They stood in the center of the banquet hall, and because they were so close, they seemed very intimate.
A commotion erupted in the crowd!
"I heard the President is here too! Attending a charity event next door, wow~ oh!"

After Harry North said that, he revealed his purpose: "I came to deliver steamed buns to Master Yansford!"
Harry North had been kneading dough all afternoon.

At the hotel corner, a pair of large hands suddenly grabbed her tightly. Before she could react, she was pinned against the cold wall.
A strange yet familiar masculine scent engulfed her.
Lucas Knight’s deep dark eyes just fell on her face like that.
Eva Nightingale was startled!
She was wearing a long dress, with high heels on her feet, and from his strong pull, she nearly stumbled.
